England still has better soccer than MLS. FACT - regardless... Yeah. No better than the US, either (who are worse.) - I'd post a video about it (and how much FIFA's ranking system is BS), if anyone wants to see. Too bad it's from Asalieri...
As long as the TV companies like Sky keep throwing money at the Premier League they will always be one of the strongest leagues in the world. I think their biggest problem is that they fill their league with so many overpaid foreigners that their clubs don't have much in the way of homegrown talent. If you look at the clubs in the Spanish, Italian and German leagues their clubs have plenty of nationals in their squads.
LOL, they fluke a World Cup win aeons ago but somehow believe that they are a major player at football at international level. Uruguay have more right to be arrogant because they've at least won the World Cup more than once.
Considering Football's popularity (or lack of) in America I think the US international team does pretty well. Did they not make the quarter final in 1994?
