Maybe I'm biased, but the last good show was 2023 in Liverpool, we do a good job hosting shows IMO.
Liverpool was such a fun year. It felt nice to host on behalf of Ukraine and the good vibes were flowing. Plus there were some truly fun performances which are severely lacking this year...

Let 3 - Mama ŠČ! (LIVE) | Croatia 🇭🇷

Käärijä - Cha Cha Cha (LIVE) | Finland 🇫🇮

I also really liked Finland's entry from last year:

Windows95man - No Rules! (LIVE) | Finland 🇫🇮

FINLAND WAS SNUBBED. But alas Sweden needs its fucking ABBA anniversary.

I’ll be honest, if I was this Finnish lady I’d be terrified of popping a tit or a labia right now.
Being somewhat familiar with her image in the local/national press and how she has presented herself in those/social media. I doubt that she would mind either or both. In fact i would not be surprised if she did those things on purpose.

Who are we all rooting for today? I ofc want the UK, but I won't be surprised if Austria win. Not a fan of any other songs tbh.

Denmark or Estonia or Israel, or San Marino LOL :story:

I like Austria's voice, but I ain't rooting for him. I just hope that my few prize horses won't get absolutely fucked up the ass by points. I'll leave that honor for Germany.

But out of the songs I like; Lithuania, Latvia, Albania, Portugal, Sweden, Iceland and Ukraine. I hope at least just one of them doesn't get left to eat dust.

Also, Estonia's entry is stupid catchy and it's grown on me so now I've found myself going "Mi Amore, Espresso Macchiato..." since Tuesday.

God help me. So Estonia too.

Edit:ew what the fuck is the tranny wearing?

Norwegian entry is very average at best.

Edit:
Luxembourg was better, had some catchyness to the song but not catchy enough.

Estonia has a top 5 entry. Funny performance, song is goofy but also catchy.

Typical ESC emotional ballade from Israel. Could win, could land in the middle or at the end. Live crowd gave it a good cheer (unlike last year IIRC).

I suspect it's a case of intense crowd dubbing. Considering where the money for the show comes from, it's 100% to please them.

Anyway Lithuania pokes my rock itch so I'm inclined to like it. But rock seldom does well so....

@Convallaria majalis You know what? He reminds me of Ezra Miller. He sort of looks like a bootleg version of him.

And Miller was already kinda eugh.

Edit: idk what it says about my tastes as I really enjoy Ukraines entry. It's one of my favorites. I really want it to do well.

Edit: I feel kinda bad for enjoying the UK entry. It's gonna flop hard and the lyrics are kinda weird but I do enjoy it.

Iceland is a guilty pleasure but I also cringe because it gives me jumpstyle flashbacks. On the other hand Latvia is super great. It's another one of my favorites. I hope it does well. Won't bet on it but I digress.

If nothing else, Nemo’s look proves being non-binary is just being and dressing ugly. This is ridiculous.

Lithuanian entry could be one of these surprise winners. Sort of Rock entries didn't that bad in the last 10 years or so. Italy won with a Rock entry.

Spain was ok. Nothing special or outstanding.

Edit:
Ukranian entry was very lame. The lamest so far.

UK entry was very Queen-ish.

Austria might have a winner entry here. Same for Iceland. The judges will love the Austrian one while the tv crowd will go for the Iceland entry.

Latvia and the Dutch guy were classic ESC entries and the Finnish are doing Finnish things once again (being weird). All three might turn out to be very popular.

Appearantly Finland is stated to be super popular. I will admit it's grown on me as well for how bombastic it is.

Me personally didn't really get into it but I can see why a lot of people might ending up liking it. Weirdness and sexyness and a catchy song (the refrain needs to be catchy) with a modern topic (female self-determination) always is liked by a lot of ESC people. The judges are going to like the topic of the song and the tv crowd is going to like the performance.

Personally, the Italian entry, the music itself, is the one I actually like so far the most. I think it's also a candidate for the win. Dude, obviously some queer guy, who sing's about being himself? Yeah, ESC crowds love this stuff (see Nemo last year).

Edit: Well, as Germans we have sent way worse and more boring shit to ESC than this.

It's funny because the commentator over here stated that the song almost censored for "skirting the line"
Yeah, ESC crowds love this stuff (see Nemo last year).
Side note, the last time Austria won was because of a drag queen. The song was kinda meh honestly.

Germany this year continues to sound like a sheep on autotune with a delay effect.

I was really impressed by lithuania.

I liked austria too. Italy was like a 70s band, but a good one.

Conchita Wurst is a stunning and brave bearded lady, you bigot.

The vocal performance from the German entry was very average but I think the song was very party-disco-esque which might help it a bit. Disco not in the sense of the genre but I can see the song being played in the average club and people having fun. But definitely no candidate for the winner.

The Greece entry was another usual ESC ballade entry.
Armenian guy might do quite well although I think it was just average.

Commentator: Malta had to change the title of their song because originally it sounded like Cunt and the UK didn't like that.

Good for them. I still hate the song. It would be fucking funny if she fell off her red ball.

Going from Malta to Portugal feels like getting kicked in the teeth to getting a nice drink and a hug from your mother.

Oh great it's us. It's rather derivative of Euphoria by Loreen and I didn't really care for that one. It could be worse.
