If you want to play Yandere Sim at a high FPS, you need to get a job and buy a gaming PC. Which means you first need to be old enough to work a job, which makes sense, because Yandere Sim should only be played by adults.
That's pretty risky thing to say. Doesn't he realise most adults have no interest in his pantyshot-meme-simulator?
Not to mention there are some AAA titles that run pretty well on laptops, while his empty game lags like crazy.

An easy way to tell if your game is for adults:

Play your game in public. If no one who looks like an normal adult ask you what you're playing or you start getting dirty looks, you probably look like a weird pedophile.

I wasn't able to find it, but Eva had an old streaming channel on a site, where he once told me he used to have dreams that he was a young girl. I forget when this was, but it was well over 6 years ago. It used to be linked on his fanfic account, which also used to have a bunch more info.

He would dream about getting dressed and going on dates and stuff.
He told me about how he had a period in one of these dreams and described using a tampon in rather detailed fashion.

He did all this while repeatedly dying in Zone of the Enders.

Case in point: one could take a toaster laptop from 2011 with Intel graphics and it could run a COD game up to maybe Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3 with no trouble, even if that requires turning some things off such as shadows and unimportant details like depth of field. Meanwhile for an empty game like this, it's all Unity Store assets and MMD models that end up being part of a laggy experience thanks to Alex and his bad programming.

I didn't give the "Alex will transition" meme theory any weight until now. He sounds exactly like the type that'd troon out because it's a glorified fetish for him. Amazing.

"Get a job and buy a gaming machine"

That's rich coming from someone living off the charity of Patreon users.

The funniest thing about yansim to me remains the fact that most of the problems he’s having aren’t due to his code as much as his complete refusal to actually learn how to use the tools he’s given. Remember when he refused to turn on occlusion culling because it might make the game not run on certain ancient intel onboard videocards? Or the awful, awkward way he implemented animations/cosmetics by stacking thousands of unused objects on a character and disabling them? Both of these situations are ones I’m pretty sure unity would cover in their basic handholding tutorials on how to link together objects and create basic behaviors. These are the easy things that Nice Tomeetyou and I are able to fix with some simple code injection and it’s astounding he hasn’t fixed them yet. He really is the Dobson of the coding world.

My prediction for the future of yansim is that he gets really frantic and hires someone and they fix a couple of the basic things like this that can resolved with some simple code or altering settings in the editor. Maybe they buy an actual proper threaded agent simulation and replace the pathfinding with it. As a result the framerate goes up a bit and so does the Patreon, but then Alex’s horrible code gets its time to truly shine when he starts implementing rivals and running hard into the limitations of his unmaintainable clusterfuck of an architecture.

Yandere Simulator on the other hand is just Alex himself with all the programming incompetence he throws into it.
The funny thing is he actually has help of others who are programming shit for him. But they're not allowed to change any of Alex's braindead ways of doing shit.

I just realized that that a lot of current main (even if unintended) demographic of YS is the same demographic that is targeted by The Sims franchise.
Those games are quite similar in many aspects: semi-cartoonish graphics, multiple human characters running around in a building, simple social simulation, and so on.
And The Sims 4 is famous for being able to run on a potato (including Apple-branded potatoes), as girls are less likely to badger their parents into buying them a gaming PC.
One would think that YS should have similar system requirements, maybe a bit higher due to lack of an entire team of experienced C++ devs. But when you see the requirements:
systemrequirementslab.com said:
The Sims 4 System Requirements (Minimum):
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (2.0 GHz Dual Core required if using integrated graphics)
RAM: 2 GB
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon X1300 or Intel GMA X4500
DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 128 MB

The Sims 4 Recommended Requirements:
CPU: Intel Core i5-750 or AMD Athlon X4
RAM: 4 GB
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 or better
DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 1024 MB
If you build a machine matching the recommended requirements, it wouldn't even run YS. If you upgraded it to 8 GB, it would run it, but only as a slideshow.

Neglecting optimization is literally cutting him off from his future main customer base. The intersection of "has a computer capable of playing YS" and "would play YS" consists of only one person, Jay from the Kubz Scouts, and even he only does it for money.

Anyone here who could help me edit and update his Wikitubia page? Most of the stuff there are pure copy-pastes from Lolcow Wiki

Hey I heard Alex talked shit to another indie game creator and since my exams are like a few days from ending I've come back to see what the fuck this idiot has done now.

Gotta love how the best thing he could come up with was fucking "Deer Simulator". Almost like Simulator games are the only things he has ideas for.

It seems to me that he's moreof poking fun at it and make some alternative name for it just for jokes, but I gotta agree that the dev who tried to developed that faithful deer game has much more experience and skills than YandereDev has today

Because his life is like a stereotype-oversaturated "Programmer Simulator".
