If he actually was smart, he'd ride the wave of attention like a champ. Yeah, he's getting memed on, and people are calling him dumb. But you can either choose to bitch about it, or laugh at yourself and be glad you get that much attention. Some of these memes (like the deepfakes) are actually really good.

To be fair if he was smart none of this would be happening. He'd have taken the offer handed to him earlier on to hand off development or would have utilized the dozens of willing free laborers at his beck-and-call to make the game for him while being the "director" ie doing nothing, taking ideas and having everyone else do the work for you while raking in the cash.
Speaking of ideas, I was just reflecting on how back before he had his spergout on 8chan (4chan? I forget it's been years) I said over email how the abduction/torture idea could be used for dark comedy by tying it to anime tropes for the "mindbreak" he wanted to implement. It would have deflected a lot of the moralizing criticism against his game ("muh fictional teenagers") that you could see coming from miles away early on. Little did I know that foresight wasn't the only thing he was lacking.

This is the thing I think we all overlook is that you are still pretty naive and dumb as a person even into your 20's (varies). Looking back at all the stupid people I used to like and follow is embarrassing but at the time I just remember having tunnel vision and not noticing the warning signs these people were scum.
Just trying to say don't dismiss them all as autistic or something. He's playing to that naivety with his audience (that professional voice he tries to pass off in his videos).
Unless something big comes out about him I can see him riding this for another couple years at least. Goes to show you don't need to be the smartest or socially proficient to make money if this guy can do it...

I was in there a while ago and there was some kid "bragging" about how they almost killed someone. They basically said "yeah I went up to my bullies with scissors and pushed them and was gonna stab them in the neck but then I just did a crazy yandere laugh ehhe".

So, I was looking into this Sleuth Drama, and he used his real name (or a real looking name) in talking to Yan nodev.
Can't he just say, "take me to court" and Yan nodev would have to realize that there is no reason to waste time? Yes, you have to dox yourself, but it seems like he already doxed himself by giving out his name and appearance, so...why not dox himself and dab on the Yan nodev at the same time?
I mean, I get he's trying to pull a 900 iq play here, but can't he just do what Zachary Michael did to Chantal and say, "try me, bitch?"

Such an accurate depiction that they even decided to include the lag!
The Minecraft version already looks many times better than the actual game. They took the time to put actual 3D trees in the surrounding environment instead of that cheap 2D texture that Alex currently has wrapped around the school. Yandere simulator texture pack and mod when?

Of course he's lurking here, after the 'hack' I'm sure kiwifarms flew right back to the top of his radar. If there is one thing Yandev definitely puts effort into, its stalking down every point of criticism and contrary thought to his preferences, so he can keep tabs on it and try to preemptively write more stuff into the debunked page.
