Fallout series

Cash grabs from morons or not, my only question is this: does this Nuka cola make my pee glow? Can I make a bomb out of it to defend myself in case society goes down under and road warrior gimps want my blood?

Well if it came in a can you could make a soda bomb....

Since Fallout 4 is getting closer to release, I decided to share these.

Some guy leak videos of Fallout 4, including character creation and Reddit is discussing about what has been leaked.

Thank you for that. This has been a good day for me. Firstly all the perks were released, second from that video I can see that the game is not set in 2277; now all I need is something proving that the Brotherhood of Steel are not the Mid-Western chapter and I running on pure sadistic gloating till the game is out.

Man, I can't wait to see all the horrible shit I can unleash upon the wasteland this time. Gonna be pretty hard to beat killing the president and eating his corpse in front of all the NCR.

I saw that last night and
It looks horrible. Super Mutants are manlets, the AI still is dumb as a board, the lip synching is worse than the previous Fallouts which says a lot, the intro was less tense than Fallout 3's escape from the vault even though there's a nuclear war going on in the background, the voice acting is mediocre, the gameplay looks slower than previous Fallout games, don't see the point of removing skills still, the visuals are bad except for the decent lighting, and holy shit dogmeat is on fire but that nigga does NOT GIVE A FUCK.
Apparently the Collector's Edition PipBoy is chinese toy-tier bad, so gg CE buyers.
Always trust the Todd

Might be optimisitc to think Mid-Western chapter since they may not be as close as the east coast. Then again, one wonders if they actually improve the BOS in this and not make them some sort of force of good guys like 3 had but rather a more neutral group that cares about their mission in hoarding technology that wouldn't mind working with locals to achieve their own goals.

Considering Todd Howard, just remember what one image says about not believing his lies. Aside from dumb AI and horrid facial animations, one can only ask how buggy settlement building will be. No doubt that could end up having some sort of bugs and BS to it.

I just want to know when the all muscle all the time build will be viable again.

Ok no it was entirely nonviable in FO1 or 2 as well, but turnbased made it feels slightly less awful of an idea.

RIP Puch RockGroin, you were the retard the wasteland deserved, but not the one it needed.

That said I can't see a reason to get, well any RPG at release as they always are bundled as a GOTY edition a year later at half the price with 3x the content. It's not a MP gmae or a Sports game. Everything will still be there next year. Of course I'll probably get it from a shady grey market key resellers for $20 instead, but I know most people don't like to take those risks (Only been burned once, Football Manager 2014, got the game revoked and lost the $15).

Also to those that mentioned Wasteland 2, am I the only one who found it really underwhelming compared to other RPGs of it's type that are released nowadays? I mean without counting the nostalgia of all my favorite Wastelanders, it felt kinda flat and shallow, and too short at that (Except the combat which was far too long and sloggy, espeically the agracultural labs).

I really want to buy Fallout 4 right away but dunno how broken is going to be in consoles or how much memory space is going to use. I loved playing New Vegas in my 360 until the bugs and the loads were so much that actually broke the dvd copy inside my Xbox. (Like... Literally broke my physical of tha game).

Console games are really getting shafted now with the fact that patches need to be certified before launch. I've seen some console games be 2 or 3 patches behind their pc equivalents because of it.

And god forbid something on a console needs a hotfix pushed.

Just preordered it on Steam and the transaction isn't going through even though I received a text 15 minutes ago CURSE YOU GABEN!!!!

Fallout 4 Began With a Skyrim Xbox One Port
http://au.ign.com/articles/2015/11/03/fallout-4-began-with-a-skyrim-xbox-one-port

Well. Kind of explains some things.
According to a report by Game Informer, the team at Bethesda did the port to help understand what was then still unreleased, "next-gen" hardware. Development on Fallout 4 began before either the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One had specs available to Bethesda. The Xbox One port of Skyrim was simply an exercise for Bethesda to familiarize itself with the hardware in anticipation of Fallout 4 landing on both consoles.

Skyrim Port has been teased as well, but don't hold your breath.

On the bright side, the weapons modding looks genuinely pretty good. Can't wait for the inevitable bug that turns my sawed off full auto laser shotgun into a plasma rifle.

Considering you get a jacket with Atom Cats on it, one would like to know if they can even stand up to the Tunnel Snakes.
They're just a group that claims to have some great power armor or the best. I think they were created as some sort of throw back to the Tunnel Snakes, but I doubt they'll be anywhere near as memorable.
As for the idea that a gang could have access to power armor and supposedly good power armor at that, well it seems dumb and somewhat lore-breaking to me which is odd. I thought power armor was handled really well in Fallout 3 and the quest to get the T-51b power armor both made sense and was satisfying. The idea that a bunch of greasers got their hands on a bunch of power armor and formed a group around it is just weird.

Is this new information? What's the source.

Could be X-01, Enclave Armour, that's got to come from somewhere.

Saw it in a different screenshot dump, can't provide a source really. But essentially the Atom Cat guy you're talking to tells you about the gang and what it's about which is Power Armor. So I guess they're a crappier and less zealous version of the BOS. I can back this up though by pointing to the screenshot dump I posted above and the inclusion of "Atom Cat" Power Armor parts.

Considering power armor, the only way a group of people in leather jackets could get it was either looting it off a dead corpse that had it or coming across a military cache that had a suit. Still, is there any other information? I can't help but have a thought the group might be one to try and pull a ruse on the player for being gullible or that they may be like that one ghoul in seeing a suit of power armor but not being able to get it just yet.

Well I know this for sure based off the screenshots: They have power armor and they have enough of it to the point where it's for sale. So if they found a military cache that the Brotherhood, Enclave, or any other powerful faction managed to not find before them...it had A LOT of armor in it. T-60 armor to be exact which I'm guessing is better than the T-51b armor and possibly any Enclave armor. If they were short on Power Armor or got it from looting, I guess it would just be sold as generic T-60. But it specifically says Atom Cat T-60 which means it probably has some sort of custom work done on it and I doubt they would just sell custom armor if they didn't have a lot of it.
I have no clue how they got their armor though. If it was by looting, that's dumb and means they must have killed a ton of people wearing T-60. If it was from a military base/cache, that's also dumb as it means that a small group of damn greasers managed to find a large amount of high tech military equipment before a group like the Brotherhood could. Half of this is speculation though based off of the few screenshots I've seen so I could be wrong about some things.
