Fat People Admitting They're Fat in the Deathfats Threads Hall of Shame - & we would not have sex with you

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I love your post and agree completely. In 2020 I weighed 235 lb and was a type 2 diabetic. I wasn't nearly as bad as she is but it was getting worse. I began Weight Watchers and low carbing and I am and was then on Metformin...

I lost 120 lb in a little more than a year. Since then I have continued to low carb and my last A1C was 4.7 which is normal. My last fasting blood sugar was 85 which is also normal. It is due both to the weight loss and the low carbing. I can have an occasional carb but I need to watch it or I will become a diabetic again.

In my medical history I am still referred to as a diabetic and as I said I am still on Metformin. This has to be a lifestyle change. She would have to not only really radically reduce her calories but also her carbs and it has to be forever.

There is no way in hell that she would ever do that.

It wouldn’t surprise me if she was told that. I know a number of morbidly obese people who were told to stay off treadmills due to the risk of injuries. Some after developing shin splints, one after a fall. I myself, and my BMI is <25, was told no treadmill work EVER after being diagnosed with a navicular fracture that is now screwed together as best they could. For me, it’s bike, shank’s pony, or pool work only. Treadmills are harsh on the feet (and knees) and people running on them have to keep pace with the machine. At least going for a walk outside, people can go at a pace that is comfortable for them, and they’re unlikely to fall off the back.

Anna should not be using a treadmill, but she shouldn’t be running/jogging either.

@Biggimus Bettimus Since when is an under 25 BMI an admission of being fat.

Thats even more dumb than @brooky thinking @Chaotic Pizzaparty was admitting to being 500+lbs, when she was actually saying she was in the club that believes Foodie Beauty was over 500lbs. Some of you really could use some reading comprehension lessons.

ETA:
still TMI. but mea culpa.
It was completely relevant to the topic being discussed, in a thread that (if you read and comprehended) you’d know is full of personal experiences of people criticising Anna’s completely inappropriate exercise posts and dangerous advice.

oh right, the alligator eats the bigger number.

Just because powerleveling is completely normalized within the culture of the specific board, doesn't mean it still isn't powerleveling.
Did you bother to read the thread and see the context..I doubt it. The context was that she posted that she wasn’t allowed to use a treadmill. Others thought that no medical professional would ever say that. I was pointing out that they were wrong, and giving real life examples of knowing a number of situations where that actually happened, and why Anna may very well have been told not to use one, other than breaking one in the past.

Attacking people who aren’t power levelling about being a smaller fat is NOT the point of this thread. It seems a few posters here give themselves a hard on thinking they’ve found an example to post, and rush here to be first, but don’t bother actually reading around the post in question. Thinking @Chaotic Pizzaparty was ever going to post that she weighed over 500lbs, just proves the point. I have no idea what she weighs, but the meaning of her post was clear under the context where it was posted.

Wank away folks, you just make yourselves look as dumb as you probably are.

I feel like it shouldn't be difficult to write up a rebuttal without centering the entire post on yourself, your broken bones, and what exercises you yourself personally do. Literally just say, "In my experience, as someone who is not even medically overweight, some doctors will indeed advise against using treadmills, especially for people who are medically obese, because there is a high risk of injury."

PLing is only supposed to be about embarrassing or compromising things, sharing an exercise routine is not really a shameful thing.

Nope. It's about not revealing ANY sort of information about yourself, so it doesn't become people's personal blog (and it prevents people from borderline doxing themselves).

I like it when people like @GenociderSyo talk about their tard wrangling experiences and expertise. It's added a lot to threads like The Empathic Nutritionist and Tard Baby General. null's definition of powerleveling being identifying or embarrassing info is how I always understood it:

Every time null has talked about it:

This is powerleveling:
There are sticky, lint like objects in the area of my groin, and near the perineum. They smell like death. In fact, that is what my groin smells like, even after applying Gold Bond and Lotrimin and taking a long bath.

Null has been pretty clear about what is and isn't PLing and every time he posts one of these "reminders" people seem to stop understanding basic English. It's weird. And if someone reports someone else for PLing when it's not, and Null catches the report....well, yeah, he's made it very clear.

I just think that when it comes to a lot of BP threads, the posters tend to write on and on about their personal lives, which I personally think goes against the spirit of the site. I guess you can't call it powerlevelling, but I don't think it should be encouraged. It's fine if it's actually relevant to the discussion or interesting/informational, but I've seen people give little life updates... just because. But anyways, I guess that doesn't really have anything to do with fat people.

I agree. I'm okay with people sharing personal experiences about things as long as they are directly relevant to the discussion of the cow in question.

Does it provide information or insight that helps us understand what is happening, or what the cow is doing and why? Fan-fucking-tastic; bring it on. But if it doesn't—if it's really tangential, or just about you and your own personal experience, and not the cow—then FFS, please don't shit up the thread with it.
