He may not die, but at the very least he will be dealing with the effects of this for years to come. He definitely will not be getting stronger. Especially since his body is already in such a weak condition.
I expect regular respiratory and breathing issues for him to complain about in the future.

That's what the medical community is pushing though. I got covid early last year well before any vaccine were available and my doctor kept hounding me to get vaccinated even though I already had natural immunity.

It does make sense to keep your immune system guarded against potential reinfections, my comment was more that Assanti is massively high risk.
It's one thing for a fit and healthy 30 year old to refuse vaccination, they are unlikely to have severe complications and if they do with hospital treatment they are more likely to pull through. It's another for someone who could probably die at any moment from the sheer weight they have subjected their body to.
Unlike kicking his habit for pills and food, getting one isn't hard either. Owing to his near constant contact with the medical profession he has in order to keep him alive there is no way he wasn't offered one, he must of refused, despite being high risk and quite clearly not wanting to die just yet. It's like he wanted to catch it out of spite just so he could block a hospital bed for someone who actually contributes to wider society.

Most of his contact with the medical community is through home health aids and nurses. Many of them are skeptical of the vaccine, especially home health aids. Doctors probably try to spend as little time with him as possible. Have you ever been to the ER and had a doctor only say a couple of sentences to you and maybe give you some handouts before leaving? Or see some of Dr. Now's meetings with fatties where he just tells them to eat less? That's how Assanti's encounters usually go. The other encounters he has are with prescription mill doctors who could care less about the vaccine, and may very well offer fake COVID vaccine appointments to people who are worried some bouncer or school registrar might check the numbers on homemade vaccine card and send out a vax team to forcibly give them the jab.

I wanted to check his risk of dying on QCovid but I can't even enter his weight because it's out of range for the calculator. But be assured even people like him have a chance of survival if things come together and he's treated early enough, but don't believe he's gonna get off scott free.
It'll probably kill him within the next few years because his organs are already on the brink of failure anyway. Just because he's off supplemental oxygen doesn't mean he's out of the woods just yet.
