Early treatment helps many people by keeping them out of the hospital, once you're in there the options are extremely limited because a bunch of political bullshit has clogged up the normal decision making process for MDs.

The thing about these deathfats is they eventually hit a tipping point where they're not coming back. It could be a broken bone or a MRSA infection or really anything. Even if this doesn't kill him, he's likely to be sicker for longer than a normal human and will probably never be 100% again, not that he even has been for years.

He'll also probably be even more susceptible to future infections.

Just finished the first half about him and this isn't funny at all. It's just sad and infuriating. His dad is a spineless loud mouth, his brother is whiney and insanely passive aggressive, and then there's Steven.
