No worries though. Thanks to everyone's donations that hoard can be reborn, rising again like a phoenix from the ashes of 14BLC!
 
I don't have anything bad to say about his post. I'm just wondering if there will be another angry follow up about certain people not helping him.
 
The most interesting part of that is the line "renovation of our original house". I'm really curious what "renovations" are being done.
 
I'm just amazed that OPL is showing even a modicum of gratitude (granted it's SEND MOAR) but he seems somewhat thankful for people's generosity.

Although at this stage I'm pretty sure him and Barb are just brainwashed guardians of the hoard and exist only to fulfill the Hoard's need to reproduce
 
So, is State Farm still evaluating 14BC? Obviously they're putting him and Barb up in temporary housing, but I can't imagine he's started receiving money yet for replacing their hoard.
 
Who wants to start a pool on the time it takes him to dox his new address?

It so obvious that he keeps asking for target and walmart cards so he can waste them on hoard shit. Usually after a disaster, the best thing is to get grocery giftcards, since a gorcery also sells toiletries, etc. Usually people volunteer to cook and take over meals, but we all know about Barb and Chris' talent for making friends.
 
This isn't so bad, in my opinion. The costs associated with losing their house must be phenomenal. All he's doing is updating people, expressing his gratitude and letting people know that they're still accepting donations.

To be honest, asking for gift cards rather than outright money is a bit more polite, in my opinion.
 
So they're going to be moving back into 14BC after all this? The Black Mold saga begins...
Can't wait to see the rage when they inevitably lose the security deposit on their current house.

I notice he's specifically begging for giftcards that can be spent on vidya now.

EDIT: Just noticed the bit about rental furniture. Using their money wisely as always, I see.
 
I hate to sound cruel,
but it seems that Barb really did love that hoard more than Chris or Bob ( God rest his soul).

I mean when faced with the choice between her ailing husband's health and hygiene and the hoard, she chose her beau the hoard without a second thought.

Ditto to the hoard vs. the health and safety of her autistic man child.

Good chance that no renovations are being done and it's just being torn down. Chris is just using the word renovate because it's something that can be done to a house and anything that can be done must be a renovation, according to how Fatty's mind works.
