I have no arguments with your main point. The post is definitely "faux-deep". But it is "faux-deep" in a way that is pretty common on facebook. It is the sort of post I might well see from any number of people on my facebook feed.

So Chris has achieved normal person stupidity. It is a step up from the unique stupidity he often displays.
