FB 12/4 - Chris is making progress in being ignored by Gamestop

Let's hope that it's not the last Christmas all over again...

He doesn't feel bad about what he did, he feels bad about the consequences which he now has to deal with.
If he never went to jail and got banned from yet more places (and lost valuable vidya time by going to court repeatedly) as a result of pepper spraying that guy, you can be damn sure he would still be carrying pepper spray to this day, and his big apology video wouldn't exist.

Chris acknowledges that he is banned because of the pepper spray (but probably not the vandalism; that was 'peaceful') and knows that got him in trouble because he got arrested and had to go to court.

So what does he do when an authority figure won't let him deny that he did anything wrong? Why he apologizes of course. Admitting he did something bad (as opposed to feeling guilt about it) is pretty much like serving a jail sentence to Chris and it's a last resort which he thinks is traded-in for forgiveness. But even though he's suffered admitting wrongdoing, Gamestop and co won't accept/acknowledge his apology and that's unfair from his point of view as that's supposed to atone for it all.

That's why he got so upset at Michael Snyder. It didn't matter that he harassed, seriously injured, and caused Snyder to miss his kid's birthday; he apologized so he was supposed to be forgiven and allowed back in, but that meanie wouldn't accept it.

"due to their removing of it, as well as not contacting me, still, it would appear as me being ignored. This will not stand"

Blue Arms sonic, round 2 confirmed.

How long until he finds one of Bob or Barb's guns?

Depends if the Megatron Pistol still survives (doubt it) - if there were any actual firearms in 14BC during the fire, I suspect the heat would have actually made any ammo effectively neuter themselves by melting the casing (wouldn't explode unless they were filled with black powder, though I'm not sure if even then that would happen)...and probably the guns as well.

I think you're spot on; Much like his Autism Card, the Apology Card is just another lifeline to be played as a get-out-of-consequence free card for Chris. I remember thinking that way about apologies when I was literally 5 years old. It's quite shocking really that Chris hasn't yet realised that a simple apology does not necessarily wipe the slate clean, especially when matters have already become litigious.

Chris seems baffled that people don't just accept the apology and move on. I don't think he has any real idea that saying "sorry" is indicating that you feel regret for the action - he probably thinks of it as a magic word that makes everything better, like when a kid acts up and their parents make them say sorry even though everyone knows the little bastard doesn't give a damn.

I'm reminded of Sonichu 10, where he gave this long, rambling apology against everyone he'd wronged while having his enemies gruesomely tortured to death. It's the same deal here. He's saying he's sorry, while indicating that he's still the self-righteous uncontrollable imbecile he was a year ago.

If someone comes up to Chris unprovoked, vandalizes/steals/breaks a bunch of his precious toys and things he values, then maces Chris, then says "I'm sorry" for ten seconds before spending fifteen minutes calling Chris a terrible person and threatening to hurt him even more, all while accusing Chris publicly of being a bigot just because he tries to defend himself... if, after all that, Chris just goes "oh, okay, you're forgiven" and stops being mad at the guy, then Chris will have room to claim he's right.

Is Barb even aware of what Chris does on Facebook? Does she even have one?

I can't imagine she's too pleased with the vibrating bra post if she does.
Given Chris talks less and less about Barb these days, I sometimes imagine she's slowly being absorbed into the hoard, making her life journey complete.

I doubt Barb even knows what an innernet is. Honestly, I think she's already set sail on the HMS Senility - her waking life comprised of Antenna TV and a retarded transvestite singing about hedgehogs in the next room. Trying to discern fantasy from reality at 14 BC is a daunting task.
