Feb 28, 2022 - Chris transferred to another facility

Are there any americans who work or who have been at psychiatric hospitals who know what the daily routine is like there for Chris? My associate has some experiencences but they're likely to differ. Might help deter people expecting "one flew over cuckoo's nest" movie stuff to happen.

Edit for example: they were allowed to wear normal clothing but the laces of your shoes were removed (stop people making nooses out of them), mobile phone was conviscated but there was a public phone they could use. Patients interacted and food was okay hospital food. Probably better than prison food

Might be different in usa tho
I've stayed in psyche wards, and I'll give a brief description of what I know

Wake up, eat, group therapy a few times throughout the day, see your one on one therapist and/or primary staff, eat again, free time, bed. That's the most simplistic version of a daily routine I can give.

You're treated fairly well by staff, but you'll get restrained and get thorazine in your butt cheek if you act up. Psych wards are often mixed gender but not always. People like Chris will end up in ward of their biological sex and will not be alone with female staff.

Some facilities allow you to wear your own clothes, but some others provide you with clothes. You're not allowed to have a variety of objects that can be used for self harm. Common forms of entertainment are television and arts and crafts. Chris will be at home with these two.

This might be a long shot but I'm going to page @Bryan Dunn for his expertise here as a former mental healthcare worker:

I think at one point you talked about how you would put @BSV in a "three-day zombie adventure" if he was your patient. How much do you know about Western State Hospital (if anything) based on the public information available online: It was my understanding that Asylums were banned in the US after Willowbrook State School was denounced by RFK. Is this just a regular hospital that specializes in Psychiatric care, and if so- does this technically mean Chris has been involuntarily committed? (It was a horrible fact to know that for a long time there wasn't anything legally stopping Chris from owning a firearm).

Also, how would you go about treating Chris @Bryan Dunn ?
After reagan the US policies changed to medication and police handling all mental patients. The Baker Act is a prime example of this. Most places now are half private half federal sanctioned and poorly ran. Most jails have an entire wing dedicated to mental patients. Its genuinely a massive massive underlying issue in America. Lack of funding, alot of corruption at the top on who gets what money and how the patients or staff who are hands on aren’t actually receiving it. Majority of people hired at these lockdown units are more of Bouncers than Medical help and its needed due to how HIPPA works and what crazy can get away with. The darker issue is that anybody, sane or not, can just go into a hospital and say they are suicidal and they are given a 72 hour lockdown watch. People who live off government hand outs really really abuse this system often and drug dealers who cant be touched while using the community phone will abuse it to stay out of jail or investigations.

Overall its a fucking mess of a system in the states and its most likely led to many many problems like mass shootings etc due to this.

Chris is crazy hes already on a legitimate spectrum since a child and nothing about him that has led to this is alright. More over, if he was ever coherent enough and honest enough to discuss psycho-therapy with a therapist they would understand that he is a product of a virtual fucked up social experiment with zero accountability to the people who have egged him on or fucked with him since day 1. He definitely needs anti-psychotics for sure.

There ya go.

Now for the biggest question

What will happen now that Chris cannot be exposed to Media or his enablers? Simply put if he has nobody to declare that he's god to and nothing to latch onto what will happen to him and his fictional world he developed in his head?

Wake up-shower/dress time. Showers are scheduled for patients, either morning or evening.
Group therapy/ goals for the day.
Breakfast. Depending on the unit the patients either go to the cafeteria or food is brought to the unit on a mobile meal cart. (If it's residential long term treatment they probably go to the cafeteria by residential hall. If it's an acute care facility the food cart comes to them.)
Morning medication time. Vital signs/ weights/etc.
Meet with social worker or MD or other.
Lunch. Vital signs/ weights/etc.
Group therapy.
Meet with social worker or MD or other.
Free time. Laundry time.
Dinner.
Evening medication time. Vital signs/ weights/etc.
Group therapy/ reflection on progress, goals, feelings.
Free time and phone time. Laundry time. Certain days visiting hour.
Evening shower/bedtime routine time.

No belts, no necklaces, no scarves, no shoelaces, no drawstrings, some units-slippers only. Personal clothing allowed in most cases after it has been thoroughly searched. No cavity searches. On units with chronic self-harmers or those with medical conditions they are simultaneously being treated for clothing may be hospital issued.
Psychiatric aides generally round and chart on patents every 15 minutes. Multiple ledgers with patient photos held by various staff because patients like to swap/tear off wrist bands and don't wear ID badges.
I've worked at 2 different privately owned facilities in 2 different states. One was a well respected university owned 350 bed acute care facility with 10 different units grouped by age and patient diagnosis. Nice facility amenities wise for the patients. Pay was low and the mandatory overtime was plentiful. Even though we received some patients from the local jails and returned them there, we never used jail/prison staff because we had our own trained staff.
The other was a privately owned long term residential care facility for adolescents. About 200 beds and the facility was a dump. Decent pay but lots of mandatory overtime. Again we received patients from the local juvenile jails and returned them there, we never used jail staff because we had our own trained staff.
If Heilberg and Greene County managed to get Chris in a state mental health facility, I am super impressed. Truly. The acute care facility I worked at many times recommended patients for continued care in state facilities and almost never could get them a bed and had to settle for outpatient care, group homes, or nursing homes.

You explained this much better than I had information to explain with. Thanks for your contribution.
One thing I would like to say is that state to state and region to region the mental wards can be very different.
My only first hand experience with the funny farm was when I was county coroner and had to retrieve the ones who went to the potato patch in the sky

Will he be allowed contact with the outside world? Or will we not see another letter from him for years?

Chris has been brainwashed into thinking he is bisexual, what will happen if he harasses other male patients or staff?

Unfortunately Chris might still get access to cartoons if there's a TV in the common area.

How long y'all think Chris will be in the cuckoo saloon?

Srsly
Probably about 6 months. Unless the pale pasty youtube lolcow is somehow correct and it was an attempt at self harm. Which might only be a few weeks. But more likely Chris has been going full bore fantasyland and Heilberg can't get any meaningful cooperation out of him.
The whole point of these de-tarding institutional stays (if this really even is one of those) is to render the person competent to stand trial. They can still be blithering lunatics, they just have to have some minimal understanding of what the proceedings are and be able to participate meaningfully in their defense. This is a really low bar to clear.

It also gets some kind of treatment for Chris while he awaits a trial that is seeming to be increasingly unlikely to happen. This could have been a move by Heilberg to get him into a somewhat better environment and then hammer out some deal where he gets out at the end of the year, possibly without being an RSO and with some kind of tard housing available to him.
I don't rule out that it's a move by Heilberg to get Chris to a state where he stops eating the legal pads and smearing feces on the walls to form a dimensional portal.
Sounds like they might be trying to coach Chris how to behave on the stand just enough to get the trial going. Teach him the right answers to say to the judge so they can get him into the courtroom, have him agree to a plea bargain, and get him out of the system. Does something like that happen at these places just to get a trial done and over with?
Honestly? I think everyone that has touched Chris in this realizes that he is one of those extra special cases of a fucked up retard doing fucked up shit for which there really is no legal remedy. It's not even that he is Mentally Ill in the more standard and treatable ways such as Schizophrenic. he's on that razors edge of the tard spectrum where he isn't completely incoherent or confined to a Jerry Chair shrieking and drooling, but he has no normal social skills or boundaries. He's a quasi functional retard that has been raised almost exclusively by the internet. Neither the Criminal Justice System nor the Health Care system is particularly good at dealing with this sort of individual. He's like the worlds most pathetic Batman Villain. They are trying to figure out what to do with him.

It's basically correct. It will vary wildly by both the facility and by patient needs. For most, once they are settled in some form of street clothes are allowed, so long as they are not in some way causing a problem. This will depend on them having normal street clothes available. if they don't have that they normally wear scrubs or donated stuff. How they eat depends on what sort of ward they are in. How cooperative they are, and what risk they pose to others. But as much as is reasonably possible they do want to get the patient into some small amount of social environment. Plus feeding them in a common area is easier to deal with. State facilities will have lower quality food, and dingy depressing facilities. But it is still mostly better than prison. The food generally has to meet certain nutritional standards. It's hospital food. What will suck for him is it's hospital food under a Physician and nutritionists care. They may mandate a healthier diet plan for him. If he complains they can medicate him until he stops complaining.
It's seriously erratic. American psychiatric hospitals range from horrifying snake pits (state-run are often like this) to the kind of shit you get with a Cadillac health plan, which can be almost like a luxury resort (albeit one where you are not allowed to have shoelaces).
Chris is a broke retard without any family speaking up for him, and likely without particularly good health insurance. At least not with the sort of extras you would need for a Hollywood Hotel. He is unquestionably in a State facility or a State Contract Facility (which is generally worse). I would bet its an actual State Facility given the whole inappropriate fucking of the elderly issue.

The biggest problem with psyche facilities is after a few weeks on the job it starts getting extremely hard to tell the inmates from the staff. or rather the staff from the inmates. Psyche hospitals are often the employment option of last resort for the caregivers. It's a state job with low pay but a good benefits package. But they are not hiring or retaining life's beautiful people. And at some point the treating Physician is going to simply declare "we've done all we can. there is no reason for him to be here". At which point Chris's new life as a Bridge Troll begins.

For those fixating on somebody finding a magical halfway house for sexually deviant retards to take him in, just abandon all hope. Chris may manage to get a placement initially. It will last, maybe a week. Chris does not work and play well with others. These places are not lockdown units. You either obey all of the rules and behave in a socially acceptable way, or you are back in jail or living under a bridge. or in a permanent repeating cycle of jail and bridge.

Unfortunately Chris might still get access to cartoons if there's a TV in the common area.
It's been a few years since I've actually had to go into a State Facility like these, but in my experience they tend to leave the TV's tuned to game shows. I can't see how it doesn't increase mental illness, but at least it mostly sedates them into a stupor.

Oh dude there's a possibility we never touched on before.
If you take schizophrenia meds when you don't need them they can really fuck you up.

Mental health professionals can tell the difference between someone who actually has Schizophrenia and some child-brained mongo playing make-believe because he's looking for an escape from his boredom and shitty life. They aren't going to give Chris the wrong meds. However, they will go through an extensive diagnostic period to determine what his issues are and put him on the proper medications to treat it, which will likely be the only time in his adult life where he's being properly treated for his Autism. If he refuses to take his meds then he will be stuck in the hospital until he complies.

Beards don't go away with HRT. Let's not forget, he's also a sasquatch covered in body hair.

Actually, no he's not. If you look at previous photos of his body he really doesn't have much body hair, either from his obesity and shitty eating habits, or because of his Autism fucking with his hormones. Fat Autists like Chris often don't have much body hair.

This is the guy that goes to the store and asks you where the plant-based cookies are.
all cookies are plant based, flour comes from wheat, a plant. Sugar comes from sugarcane, a plant, chocolate from coco--ah you knew that. Right.

So, I've been thinking, this is probably the best ending we could have hoped for, I mean in an ideal world he'd be able to grow and change as a person but yeah, state care.

Speaking of, has anyone seen 14 Branchland Ct. lately to see if it's still there?

I think Chris thinks that because of a neurochemical imbalance so if they're medicating him he won't think it for long.

He’ll enjoy the fiction he’s made in his head or through crafts for himself like he did before he was discovered. He likes attention and (the illusion of) being worshipped, but he doesn’t need it as much as some do.

If the TV is tuned to gameshows, maybe he’ll start fantasizing he’s Vanna Whitechu.

This is an in-patient program, and it is related to jail, so I doubt it. Certain people can visit though. And if Chris harasses male patients and staff, he won't have roommates and he can't be alone with anyone.

Unqualified pop psychology at its best here, I admit, but perhaps the source of Chris's more recent utter bonkers lunacy and delusions is a result of him badly processing all of the grief and bereavement he has suffered over the years?

I know normal people would consider things like being taken for a fool by people posing as girlfriends online as mean shitty pranks, but they would come to terms with it, but for Chris, these things were like real breakups.
Then the whole thing with his seeming to recover as if nothing happened mere days later, that may have been a result of him repressing these feelings of bereavement, rather than forgetting and moving on.

Then with Bob dying, and Chris probably knowing deep down somewhere that Bob for better or worse was the only stable influence in his life, with Chris's best interest at heart.

The people messing with him clearly made it all worse, and perhaps he would always be capable of fucking his mother and things, but perhaps if a psych doctor actually watches and reads all of the Christory he can find, pieces things together, they may actually be able to bring Chris to the closest that he can be to a functioning adult human?

Ironically again, the trolls and online stalkers, the people fascinated with him enough to document all of his peculiar behaviour, may be the ones who help him the most,?

In Germany, usually only close relatives can visit. I don't see this happening any time soon.

Mostly same with my friend, but there's a lot of group therapy there! My friend's group therapy was only once a day and - I shit you not- mostly consisted of helping the doctor with his crossword puzzle. That was it. Individual interviews with psychiatrists were more helpful.

Thankfully the states will better look after chris

Edit: also there was plenty of art. You could colour in stencils with crayons or you could request some paper and doodle whatever. Some art was put up on the wall and it looked bizarre. Most of the time they just kept whatever artwork my friend did in a file. With chris I can imagine some doctor having to put pictures of sonichu in his folder.

Generally these facilities have a way to "level up" with good behavior. Part of the privileges you get are the ability to write letters, make phone calls, and eventually go outside, and even have overnight trips when you reach the higher levels.

If Chris can just avoid tarding out he can probably contact the outside world, but he may not have been able to keep his log of the people who have contacted him, so he may not know any addresses or numbers of people who would report to us.

Also he may not even realize that he needs to authorize people to call him individually.

So basically, Chris could actually be drawing more sonichu right now like we always wanted but we'll never get to see it?

As long as he is allowed outside contact some ween will find a way. to do so. People have driven across the country just for a blurry photo, I'm certain some zoomer with too much free time will harass every hospital in the state until the find the right one and convince the staff that they're an old friend of Chris, probably by claiming to be Kengle or Sean Walker or somebody Chris has shown interest in contacting to get their foot in the door. Some information will get out eventually, even if it is second hand info from uncovering some ween gayop like before.

I'd imagine the level up system may be affected by the fact that he's also a criminal.

Imagine Chris comming out of this. Back being a man, lost weight, dressed semi normal with all his delusions gone.

The moment they ask him what he has done and if he understands what he has done, he breaks down crying while a single person in the gallery shouts julay.

I'm not so optimistic. It's way too late now.

If Blorb had sent him to the special needs school that was recommended for Chris way back then, he would probably have turned out fine. We know that he doesn't actually have severe mental impairment.

I'd even go so far as to say if he had professional help after the Idea Guys brainwashing, he might have managed to become somewhat normal.

There's no way he can go normie now that he fucked his mom. The alternative to the delusions would be to accept he did that horrendous act, his brain would simply not allow him to even ponder the possibility that the delusions were wrong and he is a motherfucker.
