I think that slow processing time is a learning disability in and of itself. Add the fact that Chris never really understands anything about life, and the picture becomes clearer.
Also he has fixed ideas about things he does not understand in the least, making him incapable of learning.

I guess we'll find out when he gets out of the loony bin if it had any effect on him.
No that boat sailed when he missed those developmental milestones by adulthood. He's fucked up for good. We'll see whether he's a manageable retard. He's not even what they used to call trainable at this point.

Chris uses "two-bit" (correctly hyphenated, it should be noted) idiomatically here, but his use of "two cents" later is both a mild bit of parallel wordplay and a demonstration that he understands that two bits is a term for a quarter (and a somewhat outdated one at that, showing the breadth of his language acquisition). That's actually kind of impressive. He also describes himself as Sonichu's "intrusive creator," which is a thoroughly reasonable way to characterize his role in the story, and one he clearly came up with himself, as "intrusive creator" is not a common phrase.
It’s highly likely he got those expressions and jokes from TV. He gets props for using them correctly (and credit for his grammar etc), but I’m not in awe of his plagiarized creative wordplay.

That's what language acquisition is: you hear/read a thing, you remember it, and you use it yourself later, correctly and in a proper context. I'm not giving Chris points for creativity, just pointing out that his facility with language is better than a lot of adults in the population, including a lot of the lolcows we cover on this site.

The Goddess Blue Fart shall rise again, more fucktarded than ever hath we seen.

Or anything he deems negative/false regardless of the truth. Such as the one time people tried to explain autism and aspergers are one and the same. To paraphrase, Chris said "he doesn't care about the facts or scientific data. Aspergers and autism aren't related and the former is untrue and false". The same could be said about de homos. Where he said he is a warrior of "true love" except homo males. Which is a contradictory statement and when pointed out. He stood firm because he said so and there's no changing his mind.

Chris's language skills are actually fairly well developed, considering that he's, y'know, Chris. Consider this page from Sonichu #0 from 2004-05:

Also notice that he includes two bulleted lists and properly uses a colon to start both of them, which is a bit beyond elementary English.

Here's a page from Sonichu #6 from 2006-07, which I believe would have been the last issue he completed before the Internet started breaking his brain:

"A bit-o'-time later" is relaxed and colloquial and fits perfectly well with the tone of the story. Likewise with "Uh..."; it's somewhat unusual to see filler words like "uh" spelled out on the page, but it's something that would occur quite naturally in conversation and adds verisimilitude. Though Chris's usually spelling quirks and typos are present, all the sentences are constructed and punctuated correctly, despite some of the sentences being rather complex.

We can even look at the simple panel that confronts us every time we visit the front page of the CWCki:

"Some not-so-good news" is an example of a compound modifier, which is a multi-word phrase that is used to modify a noun or verb as if it were a single word. The words in a compound modifier are correctly connected with hyphens, as Chris has done here. It is well constructed and does not read as awkward or out of place.

To be clear, most of these are things that even average students pick up by the time they're 10 or 11. But it's one thing to understand these constructions and techniques, and quite another to be able to use them in writing, naturally and frequently, the way Chris does. A lot of people never really master it. If you don't believe me, go look at your relatives' Facebook posts.
To go on a minor tangent: I'm sure this has already been mentioned before since nearly everything else about his life has been discussed. But Chris's way of speaking and typing is weirdly archaic at times. Can't really put my finger on why, but its some of the phrases he uses, as well as the way he words things. Probably a result of being raised by a greatest-generation father and a silent-generation mother who were both from rural areas.

It's something that's been sitting in my mind for awhile but now that I'm typing it out I am struggling to recall specific examples. It's just that watching videos of Chris pre-tranny he talks like an old man. Not the tone of voice, but the wording and phrasing.

Anyone else noticed this?

He was modeling his behavior on his only real male role model, his dad.

i've met people with office jobs who are slower in the mind than Chris and communicate worse too. He is pretty stupid but at the same time very smart for a retard as he is functionaly capable of doing most things any normie does on their daily routine like buy groceries, pay bills, groom himself, drive, clean his room, etc. He won't of course because he is still disfunctional, but he could.

No, being sniffed by Biden.

100% agree.

This in a nutshell is the reason why I think Chris's issues go way beyond autism or a neglectful childhood. Both of those play a role of course, but I think something in his brain is broken. Because he genuinely does not seem to understand cause-and-effect. He does whatever he feels like at any given moment, then reacts in total surprise when his actions have unwanted consequences. The only exception to this is if there is an authority figure immediately there and ordering him around. When he doesn't have that, he goes off the rails, which is exactly what happened as soon as Bob died and Barb went senile.

Without going into detail, the only other people I've seen that have the same pattern of not understanding consequences, are extremely low IQ people. This makes me think that Chris, in addition to his other problems, is actually mentally retarded. Not in a metaphorical insulting way, I mean that in the most literal sense.

Yes, it's due to his old ass parents being the only form of socializing irl. Since they also are his role models he views using said terms superior and cultured. A few examples are:

Raincoats analogy for condom instead of rubber. Typically because rubber condoms didn't come around much later as they used to be made out of sheep intestines.

Eye teeth instead of canines

Couth though this is probably from MLP

Wooden nickle used to portray poor quality. Wooden nickles were used during the great depression to facilitate trade due to the poor economy.

entendre, taken from an archiac phrase "double entendre". Another way to say double meaning particular on a lewd or risqué form. eg. Cock, Netflix and chill, etc.

Witching hours. A really archaic term to describe a time between midnight to 4am.

And many more I probably missed.

Chris also loved old TV reruns probably what Borb liked. That could explain it.
