It is very doubtful that this will happen, and we've been over this a lot. The bar for NGRI is very high. Yeah, Chris is crazy, but for NGRI they'd have to prove that he had no capacity to understand that he was committing a crime. While it's likely they will push that Chris has some form of *diminished* capacity, it's a tall order to prove that he did not have the capacity whatsoever.

Unless Heilberg, the prosecutor, and the judge are 100% on board with accepting an NGRI plea, but CHRIS would almost certainly fight that, and it would be a bad look for Heilberg.

EDIT: The most common NGRI verdicts today come from people zonked out on drugs. They still get convicted for taking the drugs in the first place, and are still responsible for the effects of what happened, but they aren't convicted of the crime itself.

Interesting. For all of Chris' influences, it's always been about cartoons, never the educational stuff. Let's say for example if Chris got more into CADD, which would lead into architecture, he could have had curiosity and exploration by visiting buildings across America and learning the room layouts; Bob would have been proud of that.

Intelligence means at its core "the ability to acquire and apply knowledge, and skills". Iq tests are very good at measuring this ability in most respects. They focus primarily on procedural intelligence. Visual pattern recognition, verbal, visual, and mental comprehension, and computation. The issue is not all information comes in that format. A guy might have borderline picture perfect memory, and be a brilliant mind with maths and puzzles; but still be a terrible detective because he has zero ability to read others or understand their motivations.

I agree that the way people present emotional intelligence is at its core a fairly massive cope to sidestep the very real supremacy IQ has over peoples functional abilities. I am not sure I can fully agree that it isnt a form of intelligence; albeit slightly irrelevant seeing how its absolutely impossible to measure .

Edit : Perhaps the correct term isnt "form of intelligence" but a contributing aspect towards it. Similar to how linguistic ability contributes to intelligence.

I watched the Ulillillia documentary again, and there's just such a difference between how he visualized spaces in a lot better detail than Chris ever did. That mall he did for his CADD homework is just atrocious, his design barely has any coherent sizes to the real world, and I don't think Chris even understands that. Yet both were basically "raised" with video games. Ulillillia can design a giant, interactive world, but at the same time, because he wants his characters to be able to explore around it. Chris, despite probably playing the exact same video games, has none of those traits in his work, and it seems like he doesn't have the capability to put something like that together.

He is lazy, we all know that, but it seemed like there wasn't anything that Chris would do in his life, hobbies, videos or otherwise, where he would try it until he got good at it. It was always the first shot, and whatever the result, it was peak creativity. I wonder if it's because at his core, he just lacks the intelligence to even conceptualize how to get good at something by practicing or learning new things.
