Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

Finishing up 6.1...

- Echoing sentiments from folks that the Alexandrians are the biggest coddled retards
- It's funny Sena Bryer's best deliveries so far were screaming at a (holographic) fake and honest woman...only to be followed up with one of the shittiest ("I need to calm down...and then we'll talk.)
- Forgot to mention this but I am guessing that Erenville is going to be the NPC associated with the BST job given the more he is 'going native'

Based.

I think so too. He's supposed to be a specialist in wildlife so it makes sense that he would be around to give factoids about monsters.

More than likely we'll get one of the beast tamers from Bozja appearing to be our instructor. My guess is the lala girl they made a whole as emote for.

Pagaga does stand out for being one of the more entertaining recurring antagonist characters you'd encounter in Bozja FATES despite her not really having any real cutscene plot relevance or presence as far as I remember.

Plus she's one of the few Garlean Empire-affiliated Lala's who's not a throwaway soldier fodder model. (Hell, maybe the only one so far?)

I'll just stick to looking up cutscenes for those quests when Beastmaster comes out. Still not bothering to play this game even with free login campaign windows.

You have less than a 0.5% chance to get anything worth it from them.
You'd need to open 140 boxes to have a 50/50 chance at having that. (2.8 million Company Seals). If you turned that into Duck Bones, you'd have 1.7M gil, guaranteed.
If you're gunning for the Copycat Bulb or Night Pegasus whistle, you have a 16% cumulative chance after 900 boxes. Or you can turn that into 10.8M gil from Duck Bones.
And because of people gambling for the high value items, none of the low value items are worth anything beyond their literal sell value. They're a scam.
Oh, I wasn't even thinking of turning GC Seals into gil when I first saw the minion box. I was just hoping to find a cool looking mount that I'd enjoy from it. Seriously, the shroud of darkness is a bit of a scam it looks cool at the front but when you're actually moving around with it all you see is a purple fart

Also are we sure BST will even be in Tural? I just assumed it'd be dumped in an ARR city like Gridania so there'd be no MSQ requirement like BLU, the only requirement might be a levelled job like every new job after HW.

I would argue that the most logical place for a BST starting quest would either be in Doma/Kugane (proximity to Bozja) or the non Mamool side of Yak Tul.

You are probably right that it will be in one of the starter cities, but I was just saying that Erenville will get the Krile Pictomancer treatment. He's a popular character and giving him a combat role of some kind will give him an excuse to be more 'involved' in later content.

There are 2 mounts in the 3.0 box and 4 in the 4.0 box, they have an incredibly rare chance to drop from them. You're better off turning your seals into gil and buying them from the MB.

Actually, BST is going to be given to Wuk Lamat

BTW, how do I make some proper money? I have 50ish million gil and passive income with subs but I'd like to have so much money I can just buy materia for pentamelding
Cleared the raids? Mercenary runs are pretty lucrative.

How does one get into that
1: Clear the raid
2: Have decent logs and be BIS (may be optional)
3: See that someone has put up a party finder saying "paying 4M for weapon drop".
4: Join the party finder, clear and see that the PL has selected Lootmaster as the looting type
5: Don't get any of the drops
6: Meet up at the location that the PL states and get 4 million gil.
7: If they don't, report them for fraud and they'll get banned.

What the fuck are the Materia prices where you are, I pentamelded for like 2-5m with pretty shit luck which is like, 1hr of mb flipping

I wish Lyse and Krile would've gotten more development. I sometimes think the writers just dont like the scions in general and they do everything in their power to not expand on them.
They haven’t seemed to like them for the last two expansions. I can’t remember any real development the scions got in Endwalker except maybe Alphinaud and Alisaie a bit. Dawntrail then literally made extremely strong characters like Thancred into a fucking cardboard cutout.

Pentamelded crafters?
Yes, 60-100 Materia on average at about 5-10k a pop and I bought the gear to begin with and totalled at about 6.5m including gear price and BSM tools. Pentamelded tools is pretty much a waste outside maybe BSM if you want to craft your own tools to save money so I just melded CP on them. There is a reason I call a lot of pentacrafters pentacucks, they cant ever be fucked to server hop for decent deals and will just buy the Materia I grabbed for 5-10k for up to 40k in stacks of 20-40.

If you are doing it to make money off crafting; Lol no stop. Endgame crafter gear/melds is a hustle 95% of people will never make profit off of.
Lower level recipes (materials, housing items, etc) have better turnaround for much less effort compared to endgame expert recipes since the market is so competative over a small buyers pool and a majroity if the playerbase who would be interested in the gear already have savage gear because the teir lasted so fucking long.

Only reason I do it is so I can caft sets for my FC at a fraction (and at a loss, I only charge them like 20k a peice so they dont feel like im giving them freebies) of the price to late comers who just hit endgame so they can jump to 720.

I am just absolutely baffled at the concept of 50m+ "Not being enough" to easily pentameld

Obviously it's enough but I don't want to dump a quarter of my purse to do it.

having 5 materia in every slot
what even is the point of this post? I know what pentameld means, been playing since Stormblood. My question was asking for confirmation if he's talking about pentamelding crafters
