That makes it worse. Maybe what my friend meant was that is more blatant now then it was before? I'm sure there was always those two wierdos hanging strangely close to each other at <city-state>. Wonder if the Japs are just as bad as we are?

I started at the tail end of 2.0 and the change isnt that wild. It just happened people got bolder when they realized SE wouldnt punish their degeneracy.

The JP are too autistic to openly interact or bother others, they will instead flame you in private and blacklist you from parties if you act like a faggot.

There was always a subset of people throwing drama into ERP and such insanity — far as I'm aware, XIV /vg/ threads were rampant with this sort of thing even in 2.0, and it just branched out further and further when you had other terminally online coomer folks like Tumblrites and redditors flocking to the game.

But no, it's like Takodachi said. the Japanese have a strict no tolerance policy for all of that bullshit. You either fall in line or you fuck off, and if you're particularly obnoxious enough, they will actively find ways to run you off their DCs. At least, I vaguely recall a few offhanded cases where the JP playerbase mobbed and harassed certain undesirables on their servers until they left.

Honestly, for me, one of the absolute worst things most of these ERPers/porn gposers seem to love to do is just cover their characters in tattoo mods, neck to toe. I'm not a fan of tattoos as a personal preference, but, even setting that bit of my bias aside, nobody ever makes any decent-looking tattoos either. It's always black on black on black covering nearly 70% of the body model in near indecipherable ink, boring ass "embellishments", or the infamous "womb" tattoo bullshit. Add to that the people who fancy their nose ring mods, or, worse yet, absolutely inhuman-looking face sculpts, and I just fail to see the appeal whatsoever.

Guy models aren't any better either. A lot of these people seem to prefer such a ridiculous amount of body hair on their dudes that it's a wonder why they don't just cut out the middleman already and go the Hrothgar route instead. Then again, there's already plenty of furfags out there on both sides of the fence anyway.

For xmas I'm gonna wish upon a star for Yoshi-P to give these insufferable faggots their own PF tab. Its becoming excedeengliy annoying to have to scroll for pages to find something worthwhile in the Other tab.

Or give us a report button for misuse of PF/tabs.

You would think that having people straight up call out 18+ content in public shouts, or linking to "carrd" pages (I think that's what they are, I've noticed a lot of the more degen players and/or venues tend to have them set up) that lead to a bunch of NSFW shit would be enough to shut these retards down.

But yeah. Also, I'm super curious if this shit is prevalent over in Glorious Nippon, since they're sort of the progenitors of this bullshit.

I know someone made a plugin that blocks those annoying as fuck club ads on shout. One for PF would be fabulous. I have a static so I lucked out in not having to sift through ads for catgirl hookers for a party.
