With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I assume Fatty being loud and annoying was a very conscious decision by production to sell the 'put fatty away' / 'bring fatty out' fishtoys
 
One of the best things about this season was bringing on the two retards, Keen and OddBod, that have been begging to be on the show, and one of them turning out to be a sniveling loser while the other is well-liked, stays until the finale, and may well now be a wigger.

Oh I'm aware it was that doesn't change the fact it made parts of the cell unwatchable.

except for jon, he's only funny when he's breaking down and having a tantrum.
s1 was a new frontier and it had many many boring moments, but we all loved it. s2 was unwatchable. 2.5 was a silly fun little time and i'm really glad they pulled it off.
i'm hoping they lay off the torture aspect in s3 because it completely ruins the entire thing. challenges are one thing, forced puking and head shaving is another.

He's tolerable when not visually disgusting.

Hell, make everyone stay fully clothed. Including Jon and Jimmy. Nobody wants to see that.

nah, jimmy being shirtless added to the kino. we get to see his terrible tattoos in full glory. we get to see how fat he has gotten. how weird his man toddies are. and he looked goofier in the helmet shirtless than with a shirt on.

fatty, jet, and john though definitely need to keep their shirts on. letty, creature, bex, and trish can take their off anytime.

Every single contestant botched their character plotlines.

Tay - Xayleigh plot dropped when she attacked him, assumed Jon's Duke thrall plot at the last minute but it never went anywhere because Sam couldn't give a shit
Jimmy - Either never provided one or Mauro never showed up or was drunk and refused to be on camera when he was
Tai - Shot Jet's dude dead because he found him annoying
Jon - Duke thrall plot dropped because he got injured and was forced off the show by purple lipstick trying to make him gay
Letty - Some sort of familiar thing? Fatty put on a wolf mask and she immediately got rid of him
Vance - ?????? Yeah.

Everyone fucked up, Tay is just the easy target to whine about because Xavier was an important character and people assume it was going to be plot important rather than just messing with her further by getting her to wear the same furry outfit that TJ and Oddbod did as the next step from the dog ears and tail.
 
Watched the last recap at work today and almost died laughing when Xavier argued that his GF's pup form made her a wolfgirl (like Holo the wise wolf) and not a fox girl.
