Agree. Fishtank wouldn't be fun if it was budget survivor/big brother (US/can/aus) where people get voted off. Getting a bunch of autists to play a social manipulation game would be boring because the least autistic person will run the house and steamroll everyone else.

The Genius is the show that I think has the format that would work best with fishtank: it was a korean show where the big brain games they played encouraged "ugly victories and beautiful defeats": ie. the games encouraged alliances and betrayal. The main idea being that coming in first or joint first in a challenge gave you immunity, and the loser of the day's challenge had to duel someone else in a deathmatch. Replace the high iq challenges with some weird fishtank stuff and you've got yourself a basic format.

Trish comes off as a teachers pet/suck up kind who always wants to hang onto impressing the most important person in the room.

I'm glad Sam went hard on TJ during the sparring. Calling a beef on the fucking Judge himself should be as big a deal as it implies. And good on TJ for not giving up or being a pussy, and on Sam for recognizing his character development and letting him take off the silly hat. Somebody please clip this entire thing for the thread.

I dont know what would be more entertaining, watching TJ spar with Sam or TJ spar with Jet. I don't think Sam pulled out all the stops, he is fucking massive compared to TJ. But he didn't go entirely easy on him either, a good sportsmanlike effort. Hopefully TJ doesn't ruin this moment with an inflated ego, he has bigger balls than Hasan Piker.

Jet immediately asking TJ about Taylor is some sloppy narrative direction though. If he wanted to get TJ and Taylor to interact, he should just brought her upstairs and watched TJ react. Now TJ is kinda expecting them to bring up Taylor to mess with him.

With in minutes of what was probably super not thought out caputre the flag with house furniture some glass broke, Ben Jet and Sam treat these full grown adults like high schoolers and some how they still manage to fuck up and cannot even be trusted with cleaning broken glass.

Challenge to see which team can collect the most furniture. Jimmy TJ and Daune broke the glass table, in the blind spot unfortunately. Dumbasses thought the glass was attached to the table somehow.

Just before it broke, Sam Jet and Ben were talking about how they won't be making the fish clean up anymore unless it's a punishment.

Jimmy's genuine passion for home cleaning and maintenance is really wholesome. Obviously he has the Hoarderman thing but he has also offered to clean stuff in the house multiple times, and was telling Jet a few days ago that if they gave him time, he could fully clean B2's carpet. Just now, he was talking to Judge about moving around some of the relocated furniture to prevent breakage. He moved the radio to keep it out of the way of the contest and reminded the Fish to be careful of the actual fishtank. He may be insane but he's got a useful hobby and a work ethic, which is more than you can say for a lot of people.
