I'm confused by this, whatever happened to Glitchtrap? I thought the VR implied that Glitchtrap would somehow become real, or was it like in the form of a virus instead?

This is lame beyond belief, It was kinda cool when they tried to introduce this virtual ghost concept and clearly had it as a setup for SB, but they just had to dump it for whatever this is. Vanny and glitch spirit really needed more screentime that us not just optional audio recordings.

4. He seems to be a older Freddy animatronic re-purposed which might be the reason why he was able to resist being fully controlled by Vanny or something Idk.

5. The way they brought him back was basically just Scarptrap again but instead of being William himself, it's puppet-tiered by a a virtual version of him or something.

Also the fact that they brought Molten Freddy/Michael Afton(?) back along with other old characters (all of which are a part of him for some reason) was pretty uninspired and unnecessary as well.

Molten Freddy in Pizza Sim was already a major downgrade from the original Ennard but at the very least he had a personality, something that this new version of himself lacks.

Edit: just learned that the new Molten Freddy and Springtrap according to their model names are called "Blob Freddy" and "Burntrap" respectively, these feel like these were just old placeholder names never changed.

but either way even if they are, the community will probably just make them the official names.

Security Breach doesn't even try to hide it's a video game like the previous games before Help Wanted (which is ironic because of the convoluted idea of turning them into games in canon) or any other horror game out there.

There is arcade games in canon with lore elements in them, in previous games it's implied that the mini games are just canonically flashbacks in the form of old arcade games. (Aka the minigames aren't real in-universe)

Another big example is that you can also find Vanessa/Vanny's recordings with her therapist around the pizzeria for some reason and listen to them in a Sister Location's House room (which was only added for fan service like a lot of other things in the game)

Was he actually a part of this game's story? I haven't played it, so I don't know the full end credits, and the FNAF wiki just has Steel Wool as the main team behind it with only Scott doing promotional stuff on his site and reddit.

I would think that even if he retired that Scott would write a better ending/story than the one that I've been reading on here. Molten Freddy/Springtrap make no fucking sense as they were literally burned to death in Pizza Simulator. It just reeks "Fan Service"

I pirated this game to try it out and through playing it and thought because it was pirated it was just bugged naturally. Nope, its bugged all around

1. I had bugged freddy in the elevator via calling him in there
2. Moonman got stuck on top of the playarea and freaked me out because i was scared his hitbox was going to kill me if i got close enough
3. I noticed that if a security drone gets you it does cyberpunk police style and summons the animatronic on you
4. During the segment with you being trapped in a room vs Roxy and Monty i couldn't see Monty's camrea

Then I stopped after I got the fazcamera. Despite you know ALL the flaws I can't say I regret playing it. The game was fun, sneaking around and having to be cautious in heavy regulated areas, some area where i had a animatronic chase me then lose them only to hear them but have no clue where they are make me tense. The Endo segment was probably the best segument in the game due to the amount of endo's, their mechanic and the confusing area. I got lost a lot in that segment.

However i did stop playing because it just naturally felt "unfinished" Like when you start up the game and see the UI i was already worried but then play the game and thought i was tricked and they just had a shitty UI but nope, this game is 100% unfinished. Which annoys me because for the past years devs have just fucking been releasing unfinished games onto the market which pisses me off and the POTENTIAL I could see and feel playing this game was strong. I couldn't finish it because I wanted MORE, a more polished verison, a more interesting experience like interactions between animatronics; like just a voiceclip of them going (What!? Where'd he go!? Fredddddy?) when you just get into Freddy right in front of them. I mean Roxy has xray eyes she should be the only one to see Gregory inside Freddy! Freddy, Roxy and Gregory are the characters with the most personality to them. Which is weird! If it was Freddy you can just down it to Freddy being possessed or some Cawthon shit. Yet Roxy shows ego, doubts about herself, anger, sadness which is more than Chica or Monty HELL I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY MONTY TRASHED HIS ROOM! HE SEEMS PRETTY CHILL COMPARED TO ROXY! who literally tells me "Nobody will miss you"

I want more. I want this game polished. I want the characters to be polished. I want this game to be fucking finished god damn it, Steel Wool! I like this game and I'm disappointed because i just... feel like they aren't going to polish it. They are just going to make some changes here and there and that's it.

I'm pretty sure that it's because he crashed on the stage and entered a safe mode.

He also was disconnected from the system so he can't call the police and probably didn't get infected because of it.

From what I can tell, people really don’t like the bugs/glitches, and the aforementioned lockout of the game for stuff you missed, but seem to really enjoy how the characters were written, particularly Freddy.

His latest videos on the game have felt more like a slow decline into insanity than anything. I wonder if he's just tired of the franchise as a whole. At the end of Part 7, I saw only a broken man on my screen.

True but i feel like mark has been getting tired of the whole youtube thing in general and he is legitimately terrible at the game. He walks straight into the line of sight of staff bots all the time while looking at them.

It was clearly done because they either expected people to have very little left to do at 6am or because they wanted a "challenge" , i expect a patch in to fix it in a month at the earliest

How are there no YouTubers talking about the cut Content? It feels a large parts of the story was cut out, we start of in Freddy but don't know why, in the trailer vanny says your friends are worried about you but no other kid is here and that voice line isn't even in the game nor the "be still I think she's found us", Gregory says he doesn't trust Vanessa because DUDE TRUST ME which makes no sense, the part where vanny says "are you having fun yet?" Doesn't even make sense as all we've done is hide.

They've seem to cut the vanny/Vanessa plot from the game entirely, it felt there was going to be good or evil lines like "they won't stop hunting you" but steelwool from the get go said no she's bad. And for Vanny who was on all the marketing and teased all the way back in help wanted you don't even get a 1 to 1 with her no knife either.

There's Monty lines from the trailer being a sort of boss asking two characters to "bring him what he wants or they'll burn" what with his trashed room and such, but all wasted potential now. Even if they did add it in (which I doubt) the game is already out and no one will care about stuff what should have been in the game day 1.

This whole thing is downright cyberpunk like practice on steelwools part. Like when they created that trailer but hadn't finished the game yet, maybe this is the same thing I hope or worse they created fake content for a trailer for theory fags and that's it.

Because of a bug, this bar never fills, thus she only shows up at specifically scripted events.

Once the bugs are fixed, maybe ill give it a try again, but until then, I'll skip this one and just get the lore info from others. The experience is just too broken, and it's honestly ridiculous when the main poster character (Vanny) doesn't fucking properly.

Yeah, immedietly after I posted, I saw the twitter screenshot in the thread.

That's what I get for not reading up to date before posting.

I still stand by my statement that this game is just too broken to enjoy to the fullest though. So many poor design decisions. Quite frankly, Steelwool should be embarrassed. I hope they rest up over the holidays and use that embarrassment to fix the issues, because I feel like their reputation is rather damaged after this.

It's pretty disappointing how unpolished and buggy the game is, because I really dig the 80's glamrock aesthetic. If I were a kid, I would probably be over the moon with a game that looks like this.
