I would agree he's delusional. To me if they're planning on getting married then having a child will be the next big step. But I can see them trying and not realizing the challenges couples face when trying to conceive. Just my 2 cents.

I like the general optimism of the post. There's a place in my heart where I'd love to believe in redemption and I think, you know what, maybe there's some guy somewhere that truly deserves that redemption. I hope it's somebody who reads this post and learns to love themselves a little bit more.

But if you rape your elderly mother who has dementia, I'm pretty sure redemption isn't in the cards for you.
