I've taken a coffee break from the shite I need to get done this weekend and had a quick read around.

Reading between the lines and only my opinion, this goes back to the Ophelia Benson flare up on FtB which exposed some underlying animosity over money.
Cos its all about the Benjamins.
FtB was run by a committee of its bloggers who chose the new writers and could blackball anyone they didn't like. The fact that Christina Rad is now blogging on FtB goes someway to confirming my suspicions that this caused some tensions. PeeZus used to heavily promote Rad's youtube channel, giving him an excuse to eye-rape her content every chance the old perv could.
Now I've got no problems with an intelligent, outspoken woman also being sexalicious but there was no way the wizened old hags like Ophelia and Greta were going to have this years model putting their noses out of joint, so Christina got blocked and PZ got cock blocked.
Its interesting to note that although FtB bangs on about its inclusive credentials when appointing writers, they artent inclusive when it comes to their women bloggers being conventionally attractive. I think I put a twitter/comment exchange between PZ and Ophelia discussing the looks of a woman blogger up there ^^^^^ a little while back.
When Ophelia was chased off FtB I think Myers got the shock of his life. The young upstarts that he'd given a break had turned around and bitten him on the arse ("Karma is a bitch eh PZ?" R Dawkins") so I think he started throwing his weight around. I did notice that once Ophelia had left , any discussion of what she was posting on her own blog was stamped on. The rabid dogs he had created and promoted didn't like being brought to heal by the Big Dog (a metaphor too far?).
So, now PZ has FtB to himself, and I will go through the new bloggers and tick off the criteria I posited above in a future post.
The Orbit unlike FtB is now sharing the money in a much fairer manner ie: Prizes For All!
The bloggers who generate the most ad revenue are only going to get half of it, while the no-mark hangers on are going to share the popular bloggers revenue. But its ok, because its going to be run by a committee of SJW+ ers, and that has never caused infighting ever in the history of the world (cough: atheism+)
