I honestly think the people who go on and on about their sexual preference and or the sexual preference of others. Do it because they don't have anything else to talk about and they think it will make them seem interesting. I personally don't give a rats ass what your sexual preference is.

I can think of two kinds of people. Religious scumbags who are obsessed with other people's sexualities because they're closet cases themselves, usually. Or extreme troons who think it's persecution when lesbians don't want their "girl cocks."

It seems that after they created their own atheist + safe space they did what all privileged men do, they started hitting on the young chicks.

Heina Dadabhoy has already offered support to Amy Franks so I believe the whistle has been blown.

I did once suggest that ol sticky Dick would be one of the names on the secret list of "creeps" that wymins pass around at atheism + events, the fact that Heina is so quick to believe is possibly telling.

I know I have a particular interest in the FTB/Orbit SJWs having escaped the cult just in time but I'm finding this fucking brilliant.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I haven't been on FTB in years, so up to date information will be uncommon.

Once upon a time and a dozen usernames ago, I was a semi frequent commentor on PZ Myers' blog. This was about a year before elevatorgate, and it's a slight understatement to say that I didn't fit in with the A+ crowd. I didn't do ideological lockstep, and proof was necessary for me to make a judgement on a topic. If you're familiar with Myers, I'm sure you're aware that proof is in short supply.

An interesting run up to elevatorgate was the steady change in Myers himself and his audience. The audience changed first, in my opinion. I think PZ was always a hateful asshole at heart, but I think that he had to reign that in to keep his starting audience. As time passed and his audience entrenched itself, new people would find him aND join the audience. This second wave of followers would be where I would peg the birth of the Horde as we know it. They had much more authoritarian views than their fellows, and PZ found that they flocked to his blog when he would be a lightning rod, which in turn lined his wallet. They started to spread to his less vitriolic posts, and it caused a curious feedback loop of PZ reaching some height of dickishness and his fan base pushing him on.

It naturally went to his head and he started using them as a personal army. Once elevatorgate hit, and the atheist community imploded over it, a lot of the older FTB followers either left of their own accord or, in my case, handed a ban for suggesting that not everyone who asks you out for a drink wants to get in your pants. This event sealed the feedback loop of PZ and his fans.

As others have pointed out, atheist groups all around the world have been either denouncing him or ignoring him completely. This is the only thing that can permanently defuse PZ and FTB: to be ignored. If it's any indication of how little he matters, his recent speaking tours have been with UFO theorists and other loons.

Why on Earth are there asexuals in BDSM? Asexuality does exist, particularly among some people with autism (as in the actual disorder, not the internet slang term), but those people have no interest in being "kinky" or "polyamorous".
