I don't get why there is so much care about character arcs now. In the beginning, it was all the talk about how GGRM kills off characters just as they are getting developed. If I was HBO, I'd fuck with people's feels by killing off Jon/Dany and letting characters with complete story arcs go on. The outrage would be epic, and like a publicity, there is no bad outrage.

If night king follows Bran, why the fuck not send him to KL. He's got that homing beacon on his arm, so send him to KL and hide him in some dungeon. Dead dudes fuck Cersei up, then Jon and Danny show up, fuck them up, the throne is right there, perfect ending!

Also, it would be kind of cool if Jon would lay some dragon eggs.

Stop being logical and consistent, there has to be fanwank/faux outrage for the clicks/cable subs

I'd actually love to see Beric live through the whole show and not know what the fuck to do with his life after the Night King's death. Also Grey Worm surviving the battle but Missandei dying would be really interesting.

Bookfags on suicide watch! Going after Brian Cogman one of the writers on the show.
The girl who got raped instead of Sansa in the books was also Sansa's age (ie younger than Sansa was on the show)

Also neither of them are little girls anymore you fucktard (the tweeter, not you @GC_Positive )

Yes, but it could have been made more interesting. They had Jamie Lanister, a major villain, in their midst, and they didn't make him sweat it out a bit more.

I haven't seen Jamie as a villain since the moment he gave Brienne her armor, Oathkeeper, and 'charged' her with fulfilling her vow to Caitlyn. Only Dany and Sansa had any hate for him based on what he'd done years ago and they'd both already come to understand that just because you're a Lannister, you're not inherently evil.

Brienne (and by proxy Sansa) diffused the entire thing simply on the weight of Brienne's honor and integrity. I thought it was perfectly fitting that Jamie's imminent danger was mitigated by her, especially after what he did for Brienne.

I think from a writing perspective, the characters, except for Dany's out of place TryHardForTheThrone attitude, are all beyond ostracizing Jamie at the moment in favor of dealing with what's happening outside the walls. Sure, it's a bit of a plot device but fucks sake... there needs to be a few plot devices to end some of these threads.

Definitely some shit happening next episode. Although... where the fuck was the Night King? You'd think him stepping up to the top of the bluff instead of like... 7 of his lieutenants would be the shot. Wonder if he's fucked off with a bigger force to go further south and wreck Cersi's shit.

Dude has an ice dragon, why does he need to be down with the plebes and lieutenants? Probably saving that sweet CGI cash for the next ep.

I think he’s lying in wait for a surprise second wave attack on Winterfell. The Bran plan isn’t going to work.

You might be right. They dumped all the CGI budget into Ghost's last second cut/paste into a scene.

Reactions: Atropos
There are a lot of dumb takes worth unpacking, but I will say the idea of the Iron Bank betraying Cersei is laughable. Yes, there's a possibility that they might, BUT Cersei has promised to repay the bank. Dany, meanwhile, is a wild card. Would she assume the debts of a ruler who used that money to wage war against her? Additionally, Dany has a history of breaking business deals by murdering the people she made those deals with. The Iron Bank might rightfully see Dany as unstable, unreliable and dangerous. Which horse do you really think the bank is going to back if they want their debts repaid?

Lol, who's gonna be brave enough to ask the woman with two dragons (maybe one by next week) to pay off the usurper's debts?

The real question is, "Are the showrunners stupid enough to end the army of the dead at Winterfell?"

At most I can see this battle lasting into episode 4 but I'll be really surprised if they don't wrap it up here. With only six episodes in this season, I don't think they have time for a Iron Islands retreat. But then part of me wonders why include that if they don't intend on doing something about it.

At least he would have written a better dialogue.
Or maybe Maisie is such a terrible actress that her delivery is awful.

All the female actors are pretty bad except maybe brienne and cercei.

Even Cersei can be hit and miss.

That initial kiss between Gendry and Arya was so dispassionate too, there was just no chemistry.

While I liked the episode, and it was a good idea to slow it down, it still felt like it dragged on too long.

Also, about Dany being raped by Drogo at 14, she was aged up in the show, so that's probably why people aren't as up in arms about it, assuming that any of the outrage is genuine (which is dubious). Well, that and the fact that Maisie was cast as a little girl and despite ageing, still looks fairly young, so it just comes off as a little creepy.

For the deadpool, I'd add one of the dragons, probably Rhaegal, since even if it's two dragons on one, I still don't see them both making it out alive.

which is dumb. So far it would be the same level CGI as in previous episode, cool, but not holy-shit worthy.

may be they could outsource those to India. Indians made some epicly bad spoofs of American movies like terminator and star wars. It would not be cool, but it would be funny as hell.

If that's annoying now; imagine the inevitable flood of fanfiction shitfights when GRRM goes tits up.

I kind of wish that he would anoint a definitive authority on the subject a la Herbert, who would claim having GGRM's brain dump.

I don't know what WW do for fun if anything. It looks like they don't have much intelligence or independent thought, unless it comes to artwork with torn hands.

Wait, wasn’t Dany’s wedding night with Drogo consensual in the books?
There was some foreplay and stuff beforehand and he was gentle so she kinda just went with it, but after the first time he pretty much fucked her in front of the khalasar whenever he felt like it before she grew more assertive

conveniently forgetting that the rape was off-camera,so they didn't subject Sophie to any simulated rape, all she did was literally crying for a few seconds off-screen.
Also conveniently forgetting that in Season 5,Arya visited the brothel of Braavos and all the women there were all dressed and more well-behaved compared to the previous brothel scenes because it would be illegal to shoot scenes of semi-naked whores making out with their clients in the presence of a still underaged Maisie.
Want more?In the pilot, when Bran caught Jamie and Cersei having sex,Isaac wasn't exposed to Nikolaj and Lena simulating sex,it was all editing trick.
Want even more?when the children actors recorded audio commentaries for the episodes of the early seasons, they literally had to skip sex and nudity scenes, which was why they were silent during those parts(violent scenes were okay,though...).
So,yeah,I think the staff were careful and protective of their children actors despite of what these morons think...
