The 3d printed DIY PVS clones are tempting, but haven't priced out all the parts to see if there's any savings.

Plates are good but generally what people don't realise is you need manpower something Ukraine is now realizing.Ehh, it depends. If you live in or very close to an urban area, I think getting good plates and a carrier, or concealable soft armor, is worth it in case we see another summer 2020 kind of situation again. For people in rural areas or towns decently away from urban hellholes, putting plate/carrier money toward NODs (and/or thermals) might very well be the smarter choice. It's very easy for ne'er-do-wells to acquire armor that's cheap and mostly works. NODs and thermals, on the other hand, are exceedingly rare in the hands of those kinds of people. Better for you to see them when they can't see you.
What would I get if I wanted thermal and night vision integrated into one another? Or is one tube being night, and the other thermal the better option? In that case I have an autism drop for you.
L3Harris won't sell you one, but even if they would going rate is $25KWhat would I get if I wanted thermal and night vision integrated into one another?
I want to like Tripp because his optic reviews are all on point and very solid. He just kind of annoys me in the way he seems to have a habit of getting involved in guntube drama despite him saying he doesn't want to be involved.Tripp is becoming one of my favorite guntubers, gonna be tied with Hop pretty dang soon
He sure didn't hold back in this video lmao
One tube of each is akin to the new "meta" Im hearing about, since LAM's are likely to get you killed asap on the contemporary battlefield. What would I get if I wanted thermal and night vision integrated into one another? Or is one tube being night, and the other thermal the better option?
There are clip-on units like the ECOTI or JerryC from China which can stack in front of a PVS-14. These things are about the same price as a PVS-14What would I get if I wanted thermal and night vision integrated into one another? Or is one tube being night, and the other thermal the better option?
Yeah he does seem to be rolling with it a bit. It strikes me a little he still does dad advice at the end of his videos but I guess it's nit husband advice.View attachment 6682192
Mike is at least poking some fun at himself in the comments of his latest video.
there is a clip on type device that does this with a PVS-14 IIRC, but i can't remember what it is. very expensive of course but i think its buyable.L3Harris won't sell you one, but even if they would going rate is $25K
All I saw was a social club centered around men larping as women larping as operators. Flat range theatrics. The same kind of stuff too many conservatives spend far too much time on once they've attained a good standard of fundamentals and accuracy. Did they get all their tactical larp gear out for the cameras, or is that always how they train? Nobody's wearing that stuff when the door gets booted at 3 AM. It's not even clear what kind of confrontation they're training for. A shootout in the streets against a Right Wing Death Squad during a protest? The only halfway intelligent thing anyone said in this video was "if you're alone, you're going to die."Not strictly guntoober content, but I wasnt sure where else would be a relevant board to link it. I present to you, the fighting 41st:

You notice at the very beginning there's a fire instruction that goes on for like 5 minutes "contact front troops......blah blah blah... take cover....blah blah blah"Not strictly guntoober content, but I wasnt sure where else would be a relevant board to link it. This is an issue I have with a lot of guys whose experience with various firearms and accessories is in controlled flat range environments. They know how stuff holds up in that use case, but there are a lot of larpers out in the woods and mountains who use the shit out of their stuff and discover flaws in things that likely won't be revealed in flat range competition use. Competition shooting is great for improving shooting skills, but competition shooting and self defense / combat shooting are different things (even if there's some commonality). Like you said, there's a lot of gear used in competition shooting that isn't practical outside of the flat range, and some competition shooters get tunnel vision when it comes to this. What's kind of funny is that rifles specifically developed for more rifle focused competition such as 2gun/Brutality like the WWSD which is "reliable and lightweight" for competition was found to have serious flaws discovered by larpers when they use it in extremely cold environments. Like An Appeal to Heaven.
Which is usually not the best or most optimal piece of gear either.Guys like Pranka just used whatever was issued to them by Uncle Sam.
