I'm not a fan of Brandon but I'm not going to go out of my way to shit talk his deceptive practices because it's been done to death elsewhere.

Oh huh. I never knew I'd find a thread here for this. I don't remember Ian pumping content out as frequently as he does now, he should stop before the well dries.
Which is odd, since he boasted a rather large upload backlog just in case things get hairy, but he's had a lot of new episodes filmed during the quarantine. So I don't know if he's bluffing or if the B-roll footage recently is him scraping the bottom of the emergency barrel. He's actually releasing less content now since he stopped uploading on Sundays for the most part. He admitted last year that he is running out of guns since he can't get easy access to Russia and other foreign gun museums.
Yeah but it would be funny to watch today if they had done something akin to youtube. Just some weirdo redneck or a dude who runs a pawn shop in a murder capitol city doing videos about their views on guns and culture in the 80s.
Except that Karl is incapable of being even ironically entertaining.So..... kinda like Karl's videos, complete with solo VHS-tier production values?
That's what bothers me about their setup, after they went to Jim Sullivan they preached about the heavy BCG and a slower fire rate but somehow did a 180 when it comes to this new build.ultra light carrier
In all fairness to them, if this is gonna be the lightest possible match-grade rifle and that's the only thing they design it for, it being a bit finnicky is something they may be willing to deal with if it amounts to a strong performance in its category. That's what bothers me about their setup, after they went to Jim Sullivan they preached about the heavy BCG and a slower fire rate but somehow did a 180 when it comes to this new build.
I'll concede to that point. I suppose I'm just enjoying that the longer it takes for them to push it out the more people begin to question the logic behind their gimmick gun.In all fairness to them, if this is gonna be the lightest possible match-grade rifle and that's the only thing they design it for, it being a bit finnicky is something they may be willing to deal with if it amounts to a strong performance in its category.
Yeah, and even if they're using the logic of "this is just for 2-gun" they still could have a stinker on their hands. Nobody questions a really tricked-out weird looking Ruger 10/22 because it's clearly at the peak of precision target-shooting rifles. This is a gun with a much smaller niche so it needs to work a lot harder to justify itself if it's only going to be a niche product.I'll concede to that point. Not to mention that a competition gun is a very personal object. Selling a premade competition gun based off of something that works for you is ambitious and risky as hell, and this is while Brownell's is pulling a bunch of retro rifles because they either fucked up the design or just barely made their investment back.Yeah, and even if they're using the logic of "this is just for 2-gun" they still could have a stinker on their hands. Yeah but they try and make their build out like it's the ultimate evolution of the general use AR15 and should be adopted as the M4A3. I like the light weight aspects of it and I wouldn't mind making a pencil barrel, plastic lower, carbon fiber handguard ultra light buid. But, there's another grand worth of parts for a wwsd gun because in reality it's just a gamer gun. They refuse to outright say it, but the only reason to have that gas system is to set the gun up so that is barely kicks because the action is barely running, that's how you get the best splits bro pretty much guaranteed to result in a gun that's less reliable. In all fairness to them, if this is gonna be the lightest possible match-grade rifle and that's the only thing they design it for, it being a bit finnicky is something they may be willing to deal with if it amounts to a strong performance in its category.
It was the late 80ies and 90ies when the non-fudds in the gun culture and community made their move to have a voice via internet. Late 90ies the gun culture was collecting fudd scalps and in the process of shit canning fudd publications for their continue support of destroying the 2nd Amendment.Yeah but it would be funny to watch today if they had done something akin to youtube. Ciphered hexadecimal text, but I'm too lazy to decipher it.View attachment 1809208
Anyone want to guess what this means?
Hopefully it means Karl is trooning out.View attachment 1809208

Edit: Ian also brought up the WWSD name and mentioned how Stoner went to Knight’s Armament, so I guess that’s one less thing to complain about.

that period when Yeager's route irish video saw the light of day was the best. and thats ontop lf the photographer down range.IMO the two biggest firearm community lolcows are James Yeager and Voda.
You know his "I'm a badass" persona is centered around his very real cowardice and shame from that event.that period when Yeager's route irish video saw the light of day was the best. and thats ontop lf the photographer down range.
