GLITCH Productions - From the guys that brought you the Super Mario 64 bloopers

I'm like 99% sure I've read somewhere (I think it was in a Reddit AMA by the creator) that the show was supposed to be MUCH more slice-of-lifey initially and focus more on the emo bitches school life or whatever the fuck
It just hit me today. Doll straight up just stops being relevant after her debut episode. Outside of indirectly causing V's demise she doesn't really do much of anything of note she just exists. Infact she's so irrelevant they literally kill her off in the latest episode with almost no fanfare. (Not that there was much reason to give a shit about her in the first place and I'm still unsure why she's russian. Again it just feels like "WOAH WHACKY RUSSIAN! ISN'T IT FUNNY THAT SHE's RUSSIAN AND EVERYONE ELSE SPEAKS ENGLISH?!")

Schizo theory time: She was originally going to be some kind of reoccurring rival type villain in the original draft for the show. That's what I think. But then the format change happened and rather than just throwing her out since she didn't really have a purpose anymore they decided to shoehorn her in anyway. There really was no reason for her to have not been killed by the protagonist or something in her debut episode.

Again, I would not be surprised if a few years from now we get people involved with the show admitting shit like this to be the case.
I'm starting to realize a lot of the show's problems stem from the show format changing but not the characters. So you have these characters that were clearly meant for a light-hearted comedic SoL series that probably wasn't meant to be too serious being forced into this dark serious storyline with heavy themes ect... and it just doesn't fucking work.

The show changing formats explains so fucking much. So many of the characters are clearly whacky archetypes that were meant for a completely different type of show. So rather than starting over and making new characters or AT LEAST rewriting them to better fit the new narrative, we get this.

EDIT: Also, I know I'm sperging about this a lot. I guess I just find it fascinating. Plus it's kind of interesting trying to pinpoint exactly where the show went wrong.

Apparently originally Episode 2 of Murder Drones was going to be a zombie episode where the absolute solver would revive the destroyed drones to attack the colony before it received a complete rewrite. (Source: Some interview apparently another one of those things where I can't find direct confirmation but it makes sense. Take it with a grain of salt as always but I personally believe it.)

Makes me wonder how many times this has happened. The more I learn about the behind the scenes of the show the more the problems start to make sense. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of things received last minute complete rewrites. I'm starting to think the writer's issue is that they can't commit. They're too indecisive so they keep rewriting things last minute. You can't be doing that, because it will show. There's nothing wrong with tweaking things here and there but frequent complete rewrites will probably come back to bite you. Especially in a series like this where they keep insisting on how the tiny details matter, except when they don't.
Probably already gave it away but I like to write as a hobby so I somewhat understand these things which is also why these storytelling failures particularly bother me which is why I sperg about it so much.

Again, I'm interested in seeing what direction The Amazing Digital Circus will go in. If the tranny can actually look over to the neighboring show and recognize the fuckups they've been making and avoid them, then TADC might actually turn out alright. We can only hope I suppose.

Though on the same token it might be funny if they fuck up twice. We probably won't see it immediately but I'm sure give it a few years after the shows conclude people will start looking back and think "Wow, how did they make the exact same fuck up twice in a row?" I guess we'll have to see until we get a bit deeper in than two episodes. As long as they convey to the audience what's going on sufficiently then they should be fine. Just don't use Liam Vicker's storytelling style and you'll be fine. If you can even call it storytelling since it comes off as more like the animated equivalent of schizo babble but whatever.

According to Gooseworx every episode of TADC had already been written before production started on the pilot. As long as he sticks to that then he has a fighting chance of not fucking it up.

Also very smart of him, because if he had tried to write the rest of the show after the pilot had dropped there would be no way he could have pulled it off. The pressure of "I need to make sure I get this right so I don't disappoint my massive audience" would have been far too great. Which again, is probably why he should be very weary of any rewrites at this stage, that could easily make things start to go off the rails.

That's good, in that case everything should be fine.
Infact that's pretty much exactly how to avoid the mistakes Murder Drones is making. I'm convinced they're just making it up as they go along and that almost never works out in the long run.
It's obvious the writers are somewhat indecisive and aren't sure enough what story they want to tell. Other than I guess uhhh robots do things and also there's Cthulhu or something.

It probably would have worked out better if Liam or whoever is in charge had a solid outline of the plot before starting. Oh well, too late now.

I can't say for sure if Murder Drones would have turned out better if they stuck to whatever the original vision was going to be. But it might have ended up being a bit more coherent. But I guess we'll never know for sure.

At least MD wasn't made with some underlying motive behind it. I'm fully convinced that TADC was created with the sole intention of starting the next iteration of Elsagate. I can't trust a tranny with a drilling fetish.
If TADC crashes and burns it'll be hillarous otherwise I don't care
Bold of you to assume Liam Vickers doesn't have weird fetishes too.
Now granted I can't find any hard evidence of this either because either I'm a retard and haven't looked hard enough or maybe he's just smarter than TrannyWorx and never declared that shit publicly but given some of his past content I would not be wholly surprised if it turned out he was a freak too. Even if he's quiet about it.
Though the fact that he's not a tranny to my knowledge would already make it more respectable. Bonus points for being quiet about it. If you're into weird shit the least you can do for everyone else is keep it to yourself.

Vickers seems more like just a horny dude to me rather than a freak. It's also quite apparent that he has a thing for crazy monster girls, I mean, just watch Cliffside.

So a friend told me apparently in the russian dub of the show she speaks english? I didn't even know there was an option to switch dubs on youtube.
Then he sent me this. Basically someone taking the english version but replacing Doll's lines with the russian versions.

In my opinion it should've just been like this by default.
Though I'm sure they're going to try and find some stupid bullshit reason to explain why she speaks russian that is totally important guys. But I still don't get the point.

Again it really shows this character was intended for a completely different show. I'm convinced her speaking russian was originally just going to be some lolsorandumb humor with no explanation. But they decided to keep it when rewriting the show for whatever reason.

I am pretty sure she was meant to be just a one off villain for the episode with a Russian speaking quirk. But ended up coming back because they couldn't find another reason to move the plot forward...then killed her off once that was done in one of the most anti-climatic ways possible because they had no more use for her.

I praised this show before and while I still do like it a lot, my opinion has shifted and I think it was a lot better when it kept mystery, with episodes 1-4 being what I remember the most fondly of, with everything after may as well just be a different show
The characters, their dynamics with each other, and the gloomy atmosphere was really something and the eldritch lore as more of a looming background element was a fun twist compared to what we have now in which I don't even fully understand what's happening and a lot of the writing feels rushed, it wasn't great in earlier episodes either but it was manageable, here it just feels rushed and it outright makes me question if I wasn't paying attention to something or if the writers are just trying to do everything at once

Also possible. I theorized in the original draft of the show she was going to be a reoccurring type villain. But that could also be true.
Maybe it was the result of one of those last minute rewrites where they planned for her to die but then decided against it because they needed some kind of McGuffin to move the plot forward. Your guess is as good as mine.

Are you me? Cause I also felt like Episode 5 was the turning point where the show really started to go downhill and now it's kind of just free falling. Like yeah it wasn't oscar worthy before but Episode 5 is where the storytelling started getting really schizo tier.
I feel like if I have to watch a game theory type video just to understand what the fuck is going on, I think you're doing it wrong. It's what's wrong with FNAF storytelling. I honestly would've even be surprised if that's what they're trying to emulate.

Granted it wasn't so bad back when it was just 2 or 3 games but the more it went on it just got more and more ridiculous and I feel like that's where Murder Drones is headed. With each new episode this shit just gets more and more confusing.

I was always confused by certain things but I gave it pass because I thought absolutesolver stuff would remain as a background thing with a big reveal near the end like most cartoons, instead it's become a main element and it feels like 20 different people trying to explain the same thing to me and the writers just do not know what to do
I would be super curious to see an original script of what was suppose to be if one ever gets leaked

That was probably the original idea since apparently according to information from interviews floating around? (Take with a grain of salt as always because I can't find any evidence of these taking place.) but allegedly at some point they said the show was originally going to be very different. Completely different format even it was going to be a kind of dark comedy, SoL show focusing on the emo robot's school life or something and the lore stuff was going to be in the backseat but still present. But then something happened and the show completely changed to the more narrative driven version we have now which at most I would describe as some kind of horror mystery thriller with dark comedy? At least that's what I think it's trying to be anyway.

Honestly at this point this is what I'm most curious about. I really hope in the future we have employees or former employees come forward and explain what it really looked like behind the scenes. Perhaps how these rewrites came to be in the first place. I would love to hear what the fuck happened to the show from someone actually involved outside of the bits and pieces we've gotten from alleged interviews.

Better than the pilot. There's probably gonna be a lot of scat/slime porn after this, though. Ugh. And of course Guitarmasterx7 would end up associated with it, because there's always some reality where he really is Shadman's alter ego.

A few people being retarded and think they're trying to tease Pomni and Ragatha as a couple. Everything's an agenda to some anons.

There's no way "The Fudge" isn't inspired by The Great Mighty Poo from Conker's Bad Fur Day.

I enjoyed it.

Lyle is in a bunch of stuff these days, He was about a bunch in season 1 of smiling friends (toothhead guy for one) his girlfriend Monica does stuff related to helluva/hazbin (Being the original voice of vaggy) he seems to have shifted to VAing a bunch actually.

Episode 2 of TADC has just dropped.
It was alright. Hope to not be proven wrong but unlike Murder Drones so far it seems to know what it is, which is a decent sign.
Can't say if I'll watch the entire series whenever it's done but I might keep an eye on it just to see if anything goes wrong in the future.
