I imagine this would be what a formal trial would have to establish. It's Chris' only real defense. Barb raped him, not the other way around.
I wouldn't be surprised if he tries that in a trial.

The deciding point here is how badly does the dementia have to be to constitute as sufficient mental impairment that one loses the ability to consent, and if Barb meets that criteria. Chris could probably argue that Barb was assessed to be well enough to live on her own and even drive, which suggests that she might not be impaired enough to be unable to consent. Even if they prove that Barb has dementia, it's not going to be as easy to prove rape as many assume.

Null could probably be called because he was in contact with Chris and was alerted to Chris accessing Barbs bank account. No more Pizza Days for Jersh, he's got to look svelte when he's called into the Zoom called to discuss how he helped a retarded man draw pictures to go to a Pony Convention and then try to give him legal advice when it all came out.

Are they going to televise this? This'll be better than the ZimZam trial if we get some schmuck prosecuting.

If he was given one, what do you think the Sweetheart deal would have been like?

Well it wouldn't have included conviction for a felony and a decade of prison, that's for sure.

Most likely he would have been barred from 14BLC and contact with Barb, required to have therapy, and agree to be placed in the more restricted sort of managed care facility (a tard home with a fence). Any sensible person in Chris' position would gladly accept this over the possibly of imprisonment on a felony, but clearly Chris would have none of it.

FWIW, I expect he'll now be offered the same exact deal, but with: "or you go to prison for years and years," tacked onto it.

If he goes to jail he's gotta be put in some kind of special tard jail, right?

He's already in jail. If he goes to prison it will likely be a facility like the Marion Treatment Center.

Did the system fail him by not institutionalizing him long ago?

On the contrary, it's Chris who failed the system.

One solitary video, submitted as Exhibit A:

"Happy Birthday Adam Lanzy!"

nah, he'll go to regular prison like Nick Bates did.
now if he gets charged as a rapist or sex offendor, he may very well go to the MAP wing of the prison.
that was established because so many MAPs were getting killed in prison that they needed to be in that wing to not die.

most pedophiles that die in prison weren't in the map wing because they went back to jail for some other crime after serving their sentence.

It’s been speculated that there is possibly a deal in the works where Chris pleads to a felony count in exchange for a few years prison sentence, suspended after a year of time served, probation, and RSO. If Chris violates Probation or RSO, he goes back in to serve the rest of his time. Heilberg might have drug things out or insisted that things be drug out for a year in order to keep Chris in County Jail/Western State racking up that year’s time where it’s a lot safer and easier than State Prison. If this theory is correct, we’ll see Chris’ case head quickly from the Grand Jury to a Plea hearing and a sentencing.

That’s the best possible outcome for Chris. He’d be damn lucky if that’s what he gets.
If this is the case, Heilberg is a DAMN good lawyer

as much of a compliment as that can be

It was a paid shoutout, and Chris and Barb are extremely ignorant of current affairs.

Even if they understood it was a troll, they'd have done it for the money anyway. I don't think this means all that much.
I guess you're right. Chris picked the wrong time to fuck her as it ruined future shoutouts. I can just imagine a hundred requests for Barb to do "Let's go Brandon!" or some other shit.
