The District Judge said additional $500, so lets hope it stays that way (or becomes even more)A more interesting question is how much the judge is going to nudge the sanctions up by this time so that Greer understands that he's really serious?
The court is considering dismissal for failure to provide the RO application if memory servesThis is a clear indication that sanctions are useless and he will never pay them. This should have the court take much more stringent measures but probably never will.
Josh is never treated fairly of course, but to just keep saying "PAY THIS NEXT TIME OR IT'S $500 MORE AGAIN!" is at this point ludicrous. It will never end and Josh will continue to be spending while this game of chicken goes on. if they're going to continue to tard guard giving him one more chance to pay with the extra $500 and if he doesn't it's dismissal. The mad lad didn't do it!
A more interesting question is how much the judge is going to nudge the sanctions up by this time so that Greer understands that he's really serious? If he tard guards like this two or three more times, we might be back to the $5,000 that the magistrate awarded.
Even the court is so oblivious as to what's going on in the case that they have started to believe Russhole is the defendant.DEFENDANT HAS NOT PAID AWARDED SANCTIONS
Jokes aside is that just the clerk's typo? It's funny to imagine Greer reading that and shitting bricks thinking he's due sanctions and not the other way 'round.
I would imagine that attempting to defraud an attorney-at-law would be an exceptionally unwise move.Am I being overly worrisome, or should Hardin have redacted his account and routing numbers? That’s usually a lethal combination for check fraud…
That is the one part I find concerning, as it does seem to imply both that the previous non-payments will not be punished, as well as this non-payment incurring only a minor penalty. Even with this statement, if the check does not come through very quickly, and Greer makes it clear that he will not pay at the time of the next hearing or in response to a show cause order, I find it hard to imagine the case will not be dismissed. The District Judge said additional $500, so lets hope it stays that way (or becomes even more)
Call me optimistic, but committing check fraud against what I assume is an IOLTA sounds like a really terrible idea even for check fraudsters.Am I being overly worrisome, or should Hardin have redacted his account and routing numbers? That’s usually a lethal combination for check fraud…

No Hardin, it's the time travel that messes with the chronological order, he's doing his best, alright?

I like how condescending he is with the 5 "very". You should pay a dime because the judge ordered you lmao.
the judge has already said what he will do: order greer to pay $500 more. my guess is that his deadline to do so will be 4 weeks out and if he still doesnt pay the judge will promise to get VERY cross next time and increase the sanction by $200.He was never going to pay, but I'm quite interested in seeing what the Judge will do now that he's been so flagrantly disobeyed, again.
Rusty is going to be paying the full sanctions he got slashed at this rate, geg. Stubborn dumbass.ECF 345

On June 10th, Russ indicated to Mr. Hardin that he would pay, but he ended up not paying
