"While Plaintiff did mail an improvised explosive device to this Court, we find that, on balance, Plaintiff's argument that said device was meant for Defense Counsel holds merit. Motion for Sanctions against Plaintiff for attempted assassination is DENIED, Defense Counsel is hereby ORDERED to show cause as why they should not be shipped IED as Plaintiff intended. It is so ordered"
Greee would cluelessly mail them an IUD and call it Excuseable Neglect.

Greee is really blue balling us here but I'd love if the judge issued case ending sanction at 459pm July 3rd. A new independence day.
Nah, he should do the most unprecedented thing in federal history - he should login on a holiday to submit a docket entry.

They can get the court to award attorney fees but Greer won't pay.
It won't be up to him. Unless he is okay with sleeping on sidewalks and never having a bank account, he's going to be bled. I doubt nool will care whether it costs more than it's worth to collect. It's punishment time.
I doubt it. They're not going to look beyond the analysis, if you can call it that, that the Tenth Circuit applied to the fact pattern stated in the opinion. They're not going to care that the fact pattern is total fantasy. It's a pleading standard case.

The whole point of winning is about putting Greers head on a proverbial spike. It serves as a legal warning to others trying to stir up shit and sue the Farms. We have enough resources to fight a lawsuit for 5+ years and have experience with cases put before the Supreme Court and other retards, so don't bother to sue us unless you are willing to sink 5+ years of your life in time and money into a lolsuit that you will loose, get no settlement and have to pay Null.

How much are court timelines affected by summer work lapses? In New York professional circles (not law-related), if you haven’t closed a major project that requires others’ input and approval before Memorial Day the odds are it won’t wrap up until after Labor Day. Apart from vacations a lot of fields implement summer Fridays where people are MIA and usually mentally checked out by Thursday at the latest. Is that a thing in the legal arena?

That might work against normal people, but they're not going to bother suing the Farms in the first place. Even if they hate Null or the Farms, they have better things to do with their time and don't want to piss money away on a laswsuit that they know will just draw more attention to themselves. Lolcows, however, aren't capable of learning from some other poor bastards (or even their own selves) touching the stove and getting burned. If they were, they wouldn't be lolcows. Do you know what Greer is going to do as soon as this lawsuit is over and all of the appeals have been exhausted? He's going to file another one and try relitigating the entire case over again.

I remember in January I was thinking how this case was really close to being dismissed and now it's July and I'm thinking the same thing.
It's fuckin' asymptotic - it will continue to get infinitely close to dismissal, but never actually reach that point.

At some point (and I think we've passed this point, even Greee notes that) it's no longer a case of Null stuck in it with Greee, now he's stuck in this with Null. And he's going to like it less and less.

I disagree a lot of Lolcows seem to act irrationally making punishment not work on them but this is very much not the case. If you force things to hurt enough they'll suddenly figure it out. But you do have to make it exceedingly painful. Lolcows are way more rational in most cases then you give them credit for. In a strange sort of way they accept the bad things that happen to them but don't do anything to stop it. Which is why the punishment has to be excessive in order for it to work.

It's a bit like school shooters and serial killers. One could reasonably assume that those people are so fucked up and would do that kind of thing anyway but media attention plays a big role. These people are deranged but they still have a sort of self-interest.

The sad state of the US legal system means that six months really isn't even that long.

There will be more lolsuits against Null, but now that he showed he will fight to absurd lengths (and even better, that the users are willing to drop six figures on him if need be), it will maybe be one or two suits instead of 10. This retarded case is a money dump for sure, and it's 100% the fault of corrupt judges, but in a way he might be getting his money's worth in dissuasive power against future lolsuits that could have been just as or more expensive.
Or idk maybe I'm just coping and trying to rationalize how this clowshow is actually a good thing. I think in the grand scheme it turned out to be a net positive because it made both Null himself and all his enemies realize just how galvanized this little niche community really is.

I think what your missing is that Greee has been nothing but super fucking lucky with the court system.

His original case was quickly tossed out by a rational judge for the retarded bullshit it was but then he had the luck to get some scum level lawyers looking for a win to push their faggot copyright laws a bit further so they took on his appeal for free.

Then some how, through either blind luck or God only knows what, his appeal got approved. Even though the appeals court had twist and bend themselves into knots to make it work for whatever reason they did. No joke, their ruling invoke fucking the need for time travel to make it work. So again somehow Greee lucked out. It had nothing to do with his case or it's merits, for whatever reason the appeals court really really really wanted this case to go ahead.

Next rather then the original judge, who retires, the case gets assigned to some retard guarding judge who allows Greee to break rules, miss deadlines and openly lie to the court and he just shrugs it all off. That's almost unheard of levels of tard guarding in a US court. His case doesn't get tossed and when the judge can no longer ignore Russtard's transgression he gives his a tiny slap on the wrist. Why? Whe the fuck knows, maybe the judge has a soft spot for drooling retards using the legal system to try to cover up a creepy past.

Jersh has faced other retarded lawsuits but all of them had normal judges and got tossed or are getting tossed (that be M Scott and D Stebbins). Only God's Favourite Idiot has had the luck, and that's all it is pure luck, to make it this far and in the end he will suffer for it much more then had he let it just lie and slunk off into the shadows like he should of.

But if he had let it lie then he wouldn't be a lolcow now would he?

As proven by the success of the Legal Fund, there are hundreds (thousands?) of Farmers who will enthusiastically keep Null and Hardin well-oiled and ready to last for the long run.

Even if this lolsuit only ends up being a partial victory for Null (i.e. dismissal but Greee isn't on the hook for most or all of Null's legal costs), it should be a loud enough warning shot to all but the most cashed up and/or motivated lolcows.
