I was familiar with associated lolcow Cenk from TYT, but was not familiar with Hasan. This is a really great thread and is high quality right off the bat. Hasan seems like an attempt to draw more traditional/masculine leaning leftist sympathizers into the breadtube fold. In this way, he is a token meant to attract more viewers through his wannabe alpha/chad persona. It's interesting that Hasan has escaped so much criticism for his outrageous statements from anyone other than Fox News. It seems his oppression points from being a Turkish secular muslim act a a shield which deflects much criticism from other leftists or sympathetic liberal leaning brocialists. Hasan is probably on a leash these days due to 9/11 and Crenshaw comments and I didn't see much about him talking about the Armenian genocide.
