Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

That particularly. I think some of the woke crew are going to be pissed about this. It took a giant shit all over the entertainment "community" and I like that a lot.
Didn’t even wait either. As soon as she got to LA, it was immediately “this place sucks ass.”

This episode was a major improvement over the first and actually made me laugh a lot. The LA stuff was great especially the stuff with the wannabe musicians just throwing around their CDs everywhere.

In terms of the serious stuff, Loona became much better as a character here, Octavia was also pretty decent, and I'm happy to see Stolas be better used here. Would like to see more of Moxie and Millie, but I can only hope for a later episode.

Seen plenty of leftoid types adopt characters from this "show" as avatars. I watched the "pilot" (?) and I was generally unimpressed. How come this thing has such a high popularity level?
fill me in anime bros sis and enbies
I mentioned earlier in this thread that a lot of kids, at least from what I've gathered from VRchat around that time, and to a decent extent adults regard this as the new wave "edgy" cartoon like Beavis and Butthead, South Park, Happy Tree Friends (my age group), Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, Rick And Morty, and now this. I personally am not the hugest fan of this show, but I can see why that would be the case with this new younger crowd at least. There are merits to the show in the later episodes, but whether you like it or not is how you tolerate characters saying fuck every three sentences and making sex puns.

Middle of the road episode. Not great, not terrible. I really wish they'd just get back to IMP stuff. Stolas is fine as a side character but I don't want him taking over the show.
Yeah like if it weren't for the premiere and the season 1 finale, this episode would be much more favorable, but Stolas needs less screen time, Blitzo as well to some extent

There are already coomers in both the episode comments and on uploads of the clip of Octavia and loona together hoping they end up in a relationship that mirrors their dad's gay relationship.

Jesus Mary and Joseph, why can't two characters who just happen to be the same gender be friends with each other anymore? Just friends?

They don' know what having friends is like.

I didn't see that at all and it would be horrible and trite. I saw two daughters both realizing they shared having complete dicks as fathers and imitating either of them would be the last thing they'd ever do.

It also really pissed me off to see Stolas actually seriously disappoint Octavia, who has already put up with so much disappointing shit out of him.

Also just really top-notch shitting all over Los Angeles. I didn't know Vivzie had any of that "Arizona Bay" attitude before. I wonder if it has anything to do with recent experiences.

Please, no sexo with those two. I want to see them become absolute BFF's given how they have so much in common, but no love relationship pls.

Yeah I guess I just have to accept the fact that the show about demons being hitmen on Earth is not what the show is about. Silly of me to think otherwise. Out of 9 episodes (if you include the one that wasn't released last season that would be 10) only 2 focus on the IMP organization.

I guess I wouldn't be so upset that the show was taking a more serious tone if their were some stakes and consequences for actions. And no, I'm not talking about relationship drama. I'm referring to the fact that no one seems to care about anything that happens on earth. Like, the fact that imps go up to earth. It was made as a point that them not wearing human disguises would get them in trouble, but it's not a big deal since all the humans are idiots and/or don't really care. Which fine, whatever. But then you also have the fact that they're going on complete massacres in broad daylight. Killing one, or even a few humans, (and at least trying to be sneaky about it) would be understandable that no one would really bat an eye. But this? No one raises a slight eyebrow? The whole thing involving them going up to earth, killing a bunch of people, and using a higher-up demon's grimoire should cause a little bit of stir in hell.

If this show was still more of a comedy and episodic, it wouldn't be that big of a problem. But the fact that it's not and the show is trying to add some stakes here...well, why should I care if clearly no one in the show does?

Besides the fact that if Stolas and Blitzø get together, they would be sort of like siblings...Octavia is 17 and Loona is....around 22? I guess it's not so weird but....no, all of it is weird.

This is my big problem with Viv. She seems chronically allergic to sticking to her shows actual premise that sold people on it in the first place.

Hazbin Hotel, at least from what we have seen from the comics/music videos/etc., doesn't seem to interested in actually showing us anything about the hotel. I was originally excited to see the concept played straight just like I was with Helluva boss. But now I am more convinced than ever that it will slide into pointless relationship drama where the original concept is thrown into the background to only be referenced or used as a plot device for the "real" story.

Now that you point this out, it reminds me I don't either.

I'm honestly actually really liking the pointless relationship drama. She's actually really good at that. "Real story?" Who cares? I'm actually liking this ridiculous relationship shit.

Call me gay.

And I'll REEEEE at you.

Viv seems determined to keep Stolitz the focus of the show, which is fine I guess, if not misleading for those who wanted it to mostly be about I.M.P’s shenanigans. And obviously it makes sense for Stolas to appear a lot since he’s a major character, but come on, he doesn’t need to be in every episode. His and Blitzo’s involvement (as well as Moxxie and Millie’s) in this one felt forced and nearly overshadowed how it was supposed to be more Octavia/Loona-centric. Not to mention it’s awkward how they haven’t brought up what happened at Ozzie’s at all, and as a result this episode felt out of place. But they can’t all be winners.

I’m just asking for a little variety here, Viv. Hopefully the next episode will involve some other characters.

To be fair, I think that episode where they took on that government organization is setting up that exact situation that you described, it just hasn't happened yet, just like we know Stryker is still a threat and will appear this season, he just hasn't done so yet.

The problem isn't just that Stolas was ignoring Octavia, but that he was doing it specifically to shit on Stella. He was letting his hatred of his wife directly cause him to ignore his daughter, which I think was the final straw for Octavia.
