Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss Thread - Now a Griefing Thread

Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

If that one insider leak is legit, then A24 really did shut down a lot of what Viv originally had planned. Eight episodes is indeed not a lot, especially if they only greenlit Hazbin for one season.

As for theories on the episodes themselves,

-Episode 1: Probably a rehash of the pilot, likely Charlie-focused
-Episode 2: Alastor and Vox
-Episode 3: Sir Pentious
-Episode 5: Either Lucifer or Henroin, Angel Dust's dad
-Episode 6: Heaven (duh)
-Episode 7: Rosie (again, duh)

4 and 8 are more vague. If this really is all they made for Hazbin (so far), then 8 will either be an attempt at some kind of conclusion or a cliffhanger. In the case of the former, expect it to be rushed and thoroughly unsatisfying.
I love that a majority of these titles don't really make it sound like they have much to do with the hotel except for maybe episode four.
Seems just a liiiitle like another Viv show, doesn't it?

Apologies for the amount of reporting I'm doing today, but so much has happened.

I'm not sure how to describe this but there's a Loona stan of sorts on Twitter going about replying to people using Loona reaction images... and are now threatening to delete their account because people found out they were a pedophile ("minors can consent" schtick)

I'm currently outside and so on my phone so I can't archive, but can a kind sir archive this entire Twitter thread so that we may forever giggle at this?

Back on topic, I'm almost sort of glad that season orders are getting shorter, at least for indie projects. It means no one is spreading themselves thin and studios aren't outsourcing to poor 2/hr Filipino animators.

Controversies aside, if an actual pedophile was using a character of mine as reaction images, I'd hang it all up on the spot.
You can't tell me that Loona's entire existence doesn't boil down to furbait specifically for these kinds of people, with how she usually gets like, three lines an episode when it isn't focused on her.

Manadrain69, fellow pedo friend of the infamous Goonclown, has Millie as his avatar.

I genuinely think a24 was willing to weigh the pros and cons, and quietly take HH out back and shoot it underneath a shady tree.

After all the changes they made and the downgrade in animation quality, I think it's for the best.
Just let the pilot and the "Addict" music video be the only things people remember from it.

I was thinking, instead of a murder professional business that takes place in hell, why not a parody of the Make A Wish foundation where people make wishes and they twist the wishes into something fucked up? I know it's a rip off of Twisted Metal, but it makes way more sense than an assassination ring that works outside the confines of hell and begs the question of "Is Lucifer okay with this?"

So I finally got to watch it myself. While it's not the worst episode, it still is pretty bad. For everything one thing I liked, there were about ten other things I disliked.

Surprisingly, Stolas wasn't the worst part of the episode. I guess since the focus wasn't entirely on him or his "love for Blitzø" he was tolerable. I actually chuckled at a line from him.
