He Man Reboot Announced

Why are they mad? Teela and Evil Lyn look like total bull-dykes. Isn't that what they want?

Also, yes, the new She-Ra created fans, but it created the type of fans that I want absolutely nothing to do with and are more obsessed with the characters fucking each other than they are having adventures and telling fun stories.

Also, screw that person that said she wanted it to be more like She-Ra. Fuck you. I've seen too many shows today that looked like that and I hated it. Hell, Thundercats Roar looked like that. Go watch that shit. I want something that looks cool.

Anyways, my reactions to the pictures??? The art style looks good. He-Man, Skeletor, and Battlecat (my three favorite characters) all look amazing, and the voice cast is superb.

The only designs I'm struggling with are Teela and Evil Lyn who look about as feminine as my left foot. Oh and Orko looks like a demon for some reason. Isn't supposed to be cute?

But anyways, consider me cautiously optimistic, but at this point, all it has to be is less insufferable than Thundercats Roar, and less drab and boring than the Netflix Transformers that is currently going. That is a very easy goal to make, I think.

I'm guessing that Teela looks like that because it's pre transformation or something, they showed her off looking like this:

Looks pretty feminine to me.

No wonder why she-ra fans are piss. The characters are ten times better looking than their crappy show
They're really insecure about this He-Man continuation having a better art style. They really don't want people comparing their shitty cheaply produced outsourced Steven Universe knock-off to actual western in-house produced sakuga kino like this because then they'd realize how flawed it is when you get past the uwu cutesy gay cartoon lesbians.

Did you know? Animation with effort is actually bad!

LMAO at this fucking idiot genuinely thinking that She-Ra
has better animation than the studio that literally did this:

This kind of thinking only exists because She-Ra fans bought into the bullshit excuse you saw everywhere from storyboard revisionists on Twitter when She-Ra and Thundercats Roar first got announced, claiming that the only way to have good, fluid animation is to use simple, undetailed designs, when in reality it's an excuse to keep production faster and cheaper.

edit: more salt from she-ra fans

Jesus Christ. At least Castlevania is fucking good and when they had a bisexual character, it was A, confirmed on a director's twitter and never explicitly mentioned and B, we fucking got to know him before who he'd rather fuck in bed

Agreed. They don't reliazed their characters suck and that the ones criticizing their show are pointing out how better shows have done stuff similar in a better direction

Castlevania is a beautiful looking show with fantastic animation, and to see He-Man done in that style is kind of great.

At least the show will look good, so that's one foot in the door.

I am genuinely curious how Skeletor will sound with Mark Hamill doing it. I mean, there's something great I didn't know I wanted.

Looking at the art, while it feels a little like "Babby's first He-Man '02", It's definitely a step up from the shit show that is She-Ra. I don't know why people can look at the art and bitch when the latter show looks like trash and has some very jarring technical issues with the backgrounds at times.
"But all the gay characters"

Well, I can't argue that. If they are gay, then automatically they are all the best characters ever created in the history of fiction.

But what good is a TV show if there aren't gay characters I can self-insert as and write shitty fanfics about??

If I can't grandstand over meanie cishet dudebros over a cartoon meant to sell dolls to little girls that had a last minute lesbian kiss at the end of the show, what's even the point of enjoying media?

I liked the Castlevania Netflix series quite a lot when I watched it and I'm glad the studio that did Castlevania is going on to do more work. I am cautiously optimistic.
Just an FYI to you all, Castlevania season 4 came out today.

It looks great, but given who is animating that it was to be expected. The 2001 series was great, but I think this one will be infected with woke bullshit. Let me guess, He-Man dies in the first episode and the new lesbian Teela forms that team and saves the day? No thanks, Kevin Smith.

I'm a dork for He-Man. MOTU and Star Wars were the first things I liked as a kid, so I have an attachment to it.

There are things about this I am nerding out for. I mean look at that voice cast. Even something as simple as Candy Man himself, Tony Todd, voicing Scareglow, a character that has never appeared in animation but had a very cool toy, is exciting.

But given the climate of today's media, there is always that fear that comes along with any reboot.

Again, I just hope it isn't insufferable. Please. Dear God. Can it be entertaining? Even a little bit?
