I remembered when Hermione make S.P.E.W to liberate the house elves
it was a clusterfuck that Dobby had to step in because Hermione has been giving socks to house elves
Maybe I'm misremembering but didn't the one house elf (Winky?) just turn into a sloppy drunk? The niggers house elves really were happier under slavery!

The third book was great with Dobby being such a piece of shit. "Master has given Dobby clothes!" hahaha good work Harry you saved the little asshole.

Yep, she got fired and started drinking because of the shame, then she learned that the boy she helped raise killed her former master and hit the bottle even harder.

Let that be a lesson to everyone: Just let the slaves be slaves.

Well that brings up a good question. Since this is Hogwarts, can I play as a 10 year old or whatever age they are canonically when they get their owl letter? SOMEHOW I DOUBT IT.
I remember reading a while ago that you play as a student in their seventh year. Ideally the game should be divided into seven chapters each taking place within one school year but thats 90% sure not happening, I think at most we can expect something like the Fallout 3 intro, where the tutorial takes place during the first year, then skips to say the fourth year so you get to move around the castle for a bit and then skips to the seventh year, but something tells me we wont get even this second option

Nah, in the video they've confirmed that you play someone whose magic abilities weren't discovered until they were 15, and now you need to play catch up.

As for playing as Ebony, you probably could.

i MIGHT considering buying this shity game just to piss off trannis.
I know that's basically the default opinion on this game here but all troon shit aside it does look pretty fun, whether you're a fan of the franchise or no. Definitely looks like something Warner Bros. pumped alot of money into and not just for the licensing, although they've had the license for Harry Potter games from the start. Seems like they're really gunning for it to be a major release this year and not just some shitty shovelware.

It looks like the fantasy sequel to Bully that Rockstar will never make. That's enough to at least interest me despite not caring about the series itself.

And even a cursory look at the game is enough to tell me that there will be a twist that the goblins are actually the good guys, which makes the whining about it all the more tiresome.

I don't even care about the game just the insanity surrounding it.

There should be an easter egg with JKR like a hidden portrait or something just to make wokists screech more.

I'd say theres too many wokists within Warner Bros for that to go by unnoticed unless it was just one rogue artist who told no one. There were whispers that there was someone in the studio tryna get there to be a character customization option to make your PC trans. I doubt that's true, but there will probably be some woke fingerprints to be found. In the trailer the cast looks awfully :optimistic: Diverse :optimistic:for a game set in Britain in the late 1800's, in the trailer the player character they use for most of the footage looks asian, theres a black girl with a thick as shit accent (nigerian i think?) and one of the teachers is an Arab. I'm no historian but I doubt Britain was so diverse and had that kind of immigration in the days where parts of Britain were not yet even industrialized. There were some ethnic minorities sure, but when diversity has been shoved down people's throats enough times even the stray non white stands out in whats essentially a period piece. I know it sounds spergy as fuck to expect period accuracy in a game about kids going to wizard school, but one of the biggest appeals of the Harry Potter franchise was how much that world felt like it hadn't really progressed passed pre-modern Britain in terms of culture, fashion, technology ect. But then again, this is being made by American devs so cosmopolitan levels of diversity was basically a given from the get go.

Also they got Peeves in this game so already it's a 10/10. For those not in the know, Peeves was a poltergeist/spirit that haunts the castle and likes to constantly prank both students and staff members alike. Pranks can range from stealing possessions or filling all the keyholes with chewing gum, to setting off explosives, disconnecting chandeliers, pushing over axes from suits of armor at passers by and all number of thinks that could very easily end in a child being killed. S+ tier character

I’m so going to LARP as Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way and bullies the nerds and da preps
It'll be like that Sonic game that had the character creator that everyone said "I'm gonna play as Sonichu!" but then it came out and the character creator was too lame so wouldn't let you even vaguely make a Sonichu. And it made Chris sad too.

ah fuck, well I'll settle for playing as a big tiddy goth witch, and if thats not possible I'll wait until modders make it possible

This sort of looks like the Witcher 3 in the Harry Potter universe. Unfortunately, what made the Witcher 3 interesting was the story, while anything that comes out of WB is surely going to be the most generic white-bread garbage to ever grace this world as to not offend anyone.

I'll give it a fair shake, but I don't have high hopes for anything this high-profile. That being said, they could take me completely by surprise and pivot off the goblin uprising to having an incredibly insightful game about the negative impact of usury. We'll battle the goblins to save Britain and lower interest rates.

Harry Potter and the Fair Lending Standard.
