he is good at racing. a "racist," if you will. unfortunately he has been banned from accepting payouts when he wins because he thinks that geldings are not real mares.

Today's horse race test is split into two parts
Part 1
Part 2
It came close with Door Knob nearly taking the victory but Jovial Merriment shows everyone why he's the best again. Cyan is stuck in loser purgatory where he chases carrots forever and doesn't even get a name.

We got two horse race tests today, one normal test and one weird abomination test. Notably, the winner of the last abomination test A Mysterious Figure is missing from the race, and it was won by Garbage Bin. On the test everyone actually cares about, it was of course won by Jovial Merryment.

He also changed the colors of the abomination horses a bit.

I don't get why anyone would ever bet against Jovial Merryment. I swear either he runs it over and over until she wins or it has some weird ai that gives her better bounce angles.

I remember at one point the dev said he uses pixel perfect collision, so rather than having hitboxes they bounce any time their sprite touches the wall. So the horses aren't exactly equal, their shape actually effects how they bounce about. But still with how consistently Jovial Merryment wins, I am starting to suspect this is scripted, yeah.
 
Today there's four parts to the horse race test:

Part 3
Part 4
The abomination test was won by Nighttime Knifemare and all the others kind of faded away and a heart appeared. In an earlier, deleted version of the race Cyan briefly appeared there instead.

Then Superstitional Realism and A Mysterious Figure bounced around for a while.

On the actual race, they took out Jovial Merryment to give everyone else a chance and they raced for the... apple? The race was won by the newly named Comely Material Morning. There's also some weird noise in the background like a TV has been left on or something.

Overall this is becoming some kind of weird ARG or some shit. I kind of liked it better when the horses just bounced about, but the fucked up abomination horse fanart is also kinda cool.
