How are you doing? - Kiwi Farms Wellness Check

Done better in the past few years. Survived through 2020 without the coof nor some other strange virus genetically modified from the States, China, or Russia. Hoping WW3 (or some variation of it) doesn't come around the corner to kick our asses. If that happens, be keen on having trained survivor skills and be prepared.

Woke up. Went and got some Taco Bell. Discovered that they're now putting cabbage on tacos. Do not recommend cabbage tacos. Stupid lettuce shortage. Also found out that the chocodilla is dreadful, just dreadful. Do not recommend that either.

Bad food and not enough of it. Still hungry, which really defeats the purpose of having gone out for takeaway to begin with.

«Shortage»
Common for junk food places to use cabbage, when they want to be cheap. This era is the perfect excuse to be it.

Australia's got some vegetable shortages because of the nonstop natural disasters we've been having lately, and since the global supply chain is fucked up we can't just import the shortfall like normal. We all have to grin and bear it, I suppose.

But I'm still not going back for cabbage tacos. Bleh.

know the world’s going to shit but I’m very satisfied that a hell of a lot more people know what it’s like to be constantly stressed the fuck out and not be able to fix it despite their best efforts. Welcome to my hell!
When everybody was stuck at home for 2 months I was like “now y’all know what its like!”

I had to go to dc for work this weekend. My anxiety is though the roof.

My last neighborhood and apartment building really went to shit quickly during the Coofening of 2020, it suddenly was like an open air loony bin. The worst of it was some old mammy literally pouring gallons of pinesol and Fabuloso in public areas to “fight dat Covid”
I went to the er with a severe respiratory issue from her efforts and I could not stop myself from saying “a stupid nigger cunt did this to me” and they sent in some wish.com version of Aoc “social worker” to deal with me. Sorta like the Latin version of Valerie Vernon if you remember that daggy chick. Not hot.
She did not change my mind. And it was a few months before the Floyd riots so honestly I’m even more of an asshole now.
If I even smell a whiff of Fabuloso now I want to punch the person who opened it right in the mouth.

Anyways I haven’t lived there since late December and life is better.

I’m pissed because I might have to take one class in the fall to actually graduate school. I thought I was done with this bullshit. I’m gonna talk to some people about my situation soon but god fucking damnit.
I’m still going to be applying to jobs since it’s common for companies in my field to hire while in school if you’re almost done.

I’m just doing one day at a time and enjoying what I have and how far I’ve come. Like it’s going to be okay.

Feeling tired. Didn’t feel all that long ago where it felt like I wasn’t doing enough with my life, and now I’m working 32-40 hours a week, going to Church every Sunday, working out three days a week and I’m going to two different Bible study groups.

One of which is a singles group and they invited me to a pool party. And a couple of the girls that are going are people who work with me.

Slowly but surely, everything seems to be falling into place.

I recently got my bicycle from the basement and started riding around the neighbourhood and then on a nature trail. And I'm not going to lie, I got really into it. I figured, "well I have the bike already and need more vitamin D so might as well kill two birds with one stone".

Like how Chris used to call his PS3 his "ultimate life upgrade" has sort of been how I would describe doing this has been for me. At first I started feeling winded after 5 miles, but now I can go about 10 miles and not really feel anything. My mental health has gotten a lot better and I don't feel the need to escape reality anymore. You know that scene in the movie Office Space, where the guy visits the therapist and he basically hypnotizes him into feeling content about everything? That's kinda how I feel after coming back in a way. To anyone who might sort of relate to what I'm describing, I would highly recommend it.

Foot is doing better.
Doc says it's gonna take a bit under two more months to fully heal, but I'm healed enough that I can graduate from The Boot to just an ankle stabilizer thing I can wear with regular shoes.

But what's gonna stop me from jumping off the balcony now?

You've found your Zen. Hold on to that and never let it go. It's different for different people. I found that feeling in flying drones (I have a mortal fear of heights but love and am fascinated by flight). Some people find it exercising, some in hobbies, some in simple existence (the lucky ones). Most people constantly run from one thing to another, frittering away their lives in vain search of it. Embrace it.
