It’s why I fucked off to my moms, even though it’s my apartment I pay rent for, the way she was acting I figure she would either be arrested for hitting me or psyche ward for hurting herself, neither of which I really wish on anyone . So aslong as I come home tmrw and she hasn’t killed herself in my apartment I should be ok to get her out of my place for good. Is it crass to not have patience for extreme retardation like I’ve described in a relationship?

Not yet, supposedly we'll discuss that in a few weeks, but everything she told me was very vague.

I just don't have the patience for that kind of thing. I have a friend I'm talking to about maybe working together on something, where he can find us customers and I can handle the actual work behind it.

"WOW, can't wait to sleep in on my only day off before working 12 hours every day up to and including Christmas!" I said, like a fool.
I don't mind covering shifts, but I wish someone would tell me if I'm only covering a few hours or if I'm working another 12. I mean, how many snacks do I need to bring????

This is why I have a grocery delivery subscription and their credit card. I legit don't have time and I would much rather have my groceries come to me rather than go to the store after a 12hr workday. My grandfather worked like I do now- the difference was that he had a stay at home wife, a house, and you really could buy a hamburger combo meal for 30 cents. Making 60 bucks a week is different when burger fries and a shake is 30 cents.
He could get 200 burger meals- I could get 25 or so. Is it any wonder zoomers don't want to have kids? I work 80hrs a week and couldn't really afford to have someone stay home to watch a child, let alone pay to feed a family or rent more than a studio that isn't in a bad part of town.

I keep feeling bad over the fact that I’m procrastinating over my studies with regards to trying to get my Career Diploma as an Electronics Technician. Since I’ve been failing some (slightly) hard tests, there’s days where I keep wondering if I’m cut out to working as one.

Still, I have to keep pushing hard. Deep down, I’m not the type to give up easily, but the temptation to want to is a real thing.

Are these tests you can study for or practice for? If you have been, it might be useful to analyze how you've been preparing vs where the failures were in your execution. If there are gaps btw how you prepared and what was required in the tests, you could try to adjust how you're preparing.

But I agree - dig in and don't give up!

Do this. In no uncertain terms. In my work I see a lot of court cases up close and personal, and this has the ingredients of it. Get her out, and be done with it. Do not allow her to lay a hand on you, or you on her. Make a clean cut and walk away.
She needs to get well. You cannot do it for her.
Seriously, you don't need a record, ok? I see this kind of crap M-F, 8-5. It fucks up your life. The holiday season always brings us a lot of 'domestics' -- family, bf/gf fights, you name it. Don't be one of them.
It may be difficult to cut ties, but you need to save yourself.

Had a lunch meeting with the ceo / boss. It went really well. Quite blessed with this job; it sucked getting fired but this has been such a positive career move that it'd make an atheist believe.

Still no lease...calling the guy in the AM. I just want to give you money you bastard lets go.

My gut felt bad today at work due to the unreasonable number of habanero-stuffed olives I ate late at night before, and probably for the scorpion pepper sauce I put on my shitty breaded chicken bites.

Every day is like Sunday.
Every day is silent and grey.

Yeah it was good best key lime pie I've had. The bowling before went fast and it was supposed to be dry but my boss didn't show up and we spent the soda budget on cocktails. Who's spending 80 bucks on soda

Time needs to stop going by so fast. I should start thinking about getting things packed. I have to fly out to see my daughter for Christmas. I really am super excited to see her, but not to see my ex which is what is. Ah well.

Goddamnit I'm still annoyed over something that happened at work yesterday. Coworker 1 asks me what the name of the short robber from Home Alone is. I say I don't know. Coworker 2 incredulously asks "You've never seen Home Alone!?" "That not what I said," and I just leave it at that. Couple of minutes later, I'm guessing they googled it, and Coworker 1 tells me that our boss is the doppelganger of the robber from Home Alone. Before I even have a second to reply, Coworker 2 says with great confidence "He doesn't know what a doppelganger is, he's never watched Vampire Diaries."
I'm so fucking perplexed that this chick thinks that I don't know the definition of a fairly standard word because I never watched some gay ass vampire soap opera before. And why the fuck would you assume I've never watched a movie just because I don't remember the name of a character when you evidently couldn't remember the character's name either?

Other than that, things are fine I guess. I played pinball, so I can't complain.
