It was OUR fault, we didn't fixed his life.

We didn't mailed Nintendo and Sega the idea of Sonichu and created the "Sonichu Entertainment Empire", so there are no Sonichu video games, action-figures, official comics and merchandise in general, I mean, its not like his idea for a comic and art skills are complete shit. We didn't help in getting himself a sweetheart, I mean, he's a HANDSOME, athletic and intelligent lonesome high-functioning autistic STRAIGHT male who deserved an honest, caring, non-smoking, non-alcoholic, white, thin, cute and WHITE true woman to share his heartfelt love with. It was all our fault guys.

A big part of what "happened" to Chris has to with his parents enabling him to believe in his fantasy world where he is some kind of supreme being that can do no wrong. Add to this a dose of the classic "misunderstood genius" and you have what Chris' parents outwardly showed they thought of their son. They also had a very public falling out with the school system in the city they lived in, and instead of just following the rules everyone else is subject to, they moved away and told their son they were doing so to "save him from being sent to an asylum" (quote may be wrong, but that was the gist of it).
Another huge factor is his autism, and the resistance it causes to what he sees as an outside influence on his behaviour. He has been taught that his way is the correct way, and any authoritative figure who says otherwise is a dang dirty troll.
There is quite of a lot of evidence that Chris did indeed sperg out, or just rail against what he perceived as tyranny against him specifically, and just as much evidence that his parents believed that Chris was being mistreated.
Every one should know how to deal with Chris on a personal level. If they don't, they're a jerk.
 
Blame high School for not giving him that award even though he EXCELLED IN MATH.

I doubt Cole was trying to do anything more than escape from Barb's clutches. I don't like Cole at all, but look what could have happened if he didn't try to become independent. We'd have two manchildren living in the same room with mommy and only allowed to go a few miles away to fetch her food.
