None of this is surprising. Chris has always been a pervert and Barb cultivated an unhealthy relationship with no sense of bondries.

I can and still enjoy old Chris. This whole incident doesn't change my view of anything in the past he's done. We all knew he had a very weird relationship with Barb already, based on the info he's given back in 2007-2010.

I sort of cope with this by believing its one of, if not THE endpoint on Chris's downward spiral after Bob's death. Since then, he's been battling his own mind and coping however an an untreated autistic adult with little support and constant harassment can cope. It's likely the worst thing Chris has ever done. They weren't ever destitute at any point in their life, temporarily homeless when the house was on fire, but their bank accounts where never bone dry of money. Now if he does end up in prison for over a year, this means that he will completely lose his SSDI benefits, and he'd have to go through the whole process of reapplying again, so who knows how that's going to go down.
