I had a very similar scenario with a longtime online circle of gay/bi mutuals a few years back, actually. In my case, I was the initiator (or shit-stirrer) in regards to the hypocrisy surrounding the Fentanyl Floyd Summer of Love riots, which served to piss off a handful of the more degenerate members of the group (a few of whom happened to be varying degrees of black themselves, I would later learn.)

I didn't exactly get banned from the group, but I did leave for good of my own accord right before the 2020 US Election and January 6th popped off, because that would have inevitably reopened old wounds and make me a ripe target. I still remember one such cunt in that online group who had always had it out for me over the years because I was a very vanilla gay guy, and he treated me constantly like I was a goody two-shoes who didn't belong, which was rich coming from him because he was a mixed-race furfag with a hypnosis fetish and supposedly had dissociative identity disorder.

But like you, Flanders, I would learn that a number of the guys from that group are trustworthy and agree with me on a lot of positions that wokeness, BLM, troons, etc. are losing positions. Those guys I still talk to one-on-one to this day. It really is a matter of finding the ones you can trust to a T and sticking to them, and saying "screw you" to the rest who want to remain subscribed to the ideological bullshit that pollutes gay communities in current year.

Shit's rough, dude. You are braver than me. My friend group is like 95% lesbians and woman-preferring bi chicks, and we live in a hyper-leftist part of the country, so they're all woker than me but in the "accepting the prevailing narrative uncritically" way rather than activists for it. And I have been gradually peaking the ones I'm closest to over the last 3 years or so, little by little. My best friend (literal dangerhair dyke) now even knows I post on KF and I've gone full TERF, and she is perfectly fine with this. Maybe if you find yourself in another gay-heavy group in the future that's similarly libbed out, play the long game and try to win over hearts and minds rather than coming right out and saying it. Good luck finding a friend group that isn't like that, though, I really hope you can.
