This could really fuck with Chris' psyche. If the end game of this trolling is for the Idea Guy to come out and say "Haha! You weren't really talking to Sonichu/Comic CWC/Magi-Chan/whoever! You got trolled again, and I made you write that Rosechu has a dick and Magi-Chan is a faggot! It's canon now, so it's true!" it would basically be like taking away the comfort blanket of a small child who is terrified of the dark, shredding it in front of their eyes, burning the shreds, then locking them in a pitch black room that you said a terrible monster lives in. It's basically fucking with the comfort zone Chris escapes to when he's struggling to cope with reality, and Chris has a tenuous grasp on reality as it is. There is screwing with someone for a giggle, then there is being needlessly cruel. This is firmly in needlessly cruel terriory, and it isn't even funny or original. Telling Chris one of his characters is gay would have gotten a rise out of him eight years ago, but now he's basically like "Hmmm...m'nyeah, whatever."

If this is actually Chris, then he must be telling us that he himself secretly is gay. It's either that or he really doesn't give a damn about his comic anymore.

This is the real loophole that the Idea Guy is exploiting here. The only mystery right now is the "in", because there have been weens pretending to be Sonichu and Rosechu on Twitter for a couple months now, and Chris never paid attention to them at all. It is also a significant exploit, because after this saga is over, Chris will have to choose between his belief in CWCville and his desire not to get trolled through said belief again.

If I had to make a prediction, it would be that this troll saga is not the funny type (I believe all the funny has been sucked out of Chris by now), it would turn out to be the kind that reveals something new about Chris, in this case, it's how he perceives the world around him post-Tomgirl.

There is one funny side to this: Chris is officially the 1st person to get catfished by his own OCs. :lol:

This is why I am guessing that Chris tacked on Silvana as part of a "triage" (lol) to lessen the blow a bit.

I would probably pay money to watch/hear/read those convos Chris had with his own characters.. Seems like it will be a very surreal read.

We've already seen how very agitated he was about transRosechu (Generally, you can gauge his mood by his capitalization), and it felt to me that he tried to use the Twitter poll as an out, so he wouldn't feel compelled to portray her as trans (which predictably failed). So I don't think his immediate reaction to these things is "Hmm, yeah" and just moving on.

The risky part of it, especially if/when the info dump happens, is how Chris will react to it all.. As you kindly mentioned, this is a significant intrusion into his hugbox, it's basically 1000 x Simonla, and depending on how he reacts, things couldpotentially get better for him, because the way I see it, he only has 2 alternatives once this story is over:
  1. He recognizes that his need to believe in CWCville is the loophole that enabled this troll plot to succeed, forcing him to close it by ceasing his belief that cartoon characters are real, because if he doesn't, then weens will make his life an even bigger living hell, because you know they will try to find that in and tell Chris that Sonichu went Benoit on his family or something unfunny like that (:optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic:).
  2. He possibly freaks his shit at first, but then disregards it all, and continues to retreat into this newly-tainted hugbox after CTRL+Zing everything, however, this may possibly present a paradox to his mind, because his continued belief in real CWCville means that trolls still have a shot of messing with him, so he will need time to parse out this contradiction and find a new exceptional workaround that allows him to bypass it, this may or may not need a long exile.
  3. I know I said 2 solutions, but Chris is easily exceptional enough to find another idiotic alternative, so I'm keeping this one open.
I agree with you on the possible cruelty of it, but I remember that the Curse video Chris made was met with huge cheers here, it's even been mentioned as the sole positive of the Jessica saga (I honestly couldn't finish it, he was clearly in pain then), so I have to ask, where do you mark the line here? When do jokes at Chris's expense become too cruel?

I personally think this plot is being far less malicious than the Jessica one, where she dangled the prospect of mommy #2 in front of him (Which is a core need of his now), and basically toyed with his emotions. This one is basically catfishing him with his own OCs, I think if you get any autist or even a schizo in Chris's place, their 1st thought is to say "This isn't happening, GTFO" and completely resist it.. This stuff here pretty much confirms it to me that Chris isn't a schizo, he's just an extremely exceptional autist who wants to make his fantasy come true and escape his responsibilities.

Whatever is going on with the idea guy IS an ongoing series of events in Chris's life with a consistent theme. Though I don't blame you, it's easy to forget that this shit has been going on since November 2017.

I used the word 'saga' because I honestly lacked a better alternative, feel free to suggest one and I'll use it next time.

I'm not enjoying this time with Chris as some other times. Now Magi-chan is a homo marrying his adopted father... this is some 4chan level crap, where the people on /b/ find something as sick as this and troll the hell out of it. It's so far fetched, even for Chris that's it's kind of unbelievable.
