I used to never understand why these companies push D.I.E principles despite the fact that it solidly leads to poor market performance for products. You focus on diversity, inclusion and equity and people always feel talked down to, which is the antithesis of entertainment. Nobody wants a lecture on how evil they are when the goal is to distract from the insanity of reality. So nobody buys it, that and you pander to niche demographics like that’s going to net you a bounty. They’re a small market demo, small market base = small market revenue.
