A bullshot was a screengrab made for print and there was actually a reason for it: 480i looks kind of terrible and you remember the old layouts with a screenshot taking up two pages with text on top? Printing something on paper isn't magic, it won't upscale the image somehow. Devs have total control of the game though, they can create a function that lets them render out actual ingame screenshots at a way higher resolution with the press of a button. Perfect for print and spreads.There's a reason "bullshotting" was a thing back in the E3 days.
That was during the early 2000's, then some people started cheating. The initial idea was good, bullshots were initially in-game rendered images at a higher resolution meant for print.
