The moment to moment gameplay was great. Very representative, and accurate of Spider-Man as a character. Which is the absolute bare minimum for a Super Hero game. Compared to say Arkham Asylum everything else fucking sucked. The story was okay but ruined by obnoxious characters. You could argue they weren't woke in the same way people argued that a cloth mask was effective at preventing transmission of Covid. But the actual gameplay was really fun and I liked all the costumes mods added. I just wish it was made before the woke mind virus and I wish the same for Wolverine too.

Just you wait, in between cutting up gangsters and thugs to bits Wolverine will ponder upon his contributions to the patriarchy whilst some whiny ethnic woman moans on an ear piece about how she has it harder than the immortal man who has to painfully reconstruct himself from his own atoms whilst being aware of this entire process.

I know this because the exact same fucking thing happened in Spider-Man.

It's not really Sony but virtually all big game studios nowadays. It's basically the end result of videogames settling into a grey goo that gets the highest audience score. Light open world for low effort padding. Over the shoulder camera for a sweet spot between first person immersion and third person understanding of the area. Lots of talking for the semblance of plot and giving the feel of big budget.

Really I blame the gamers more than the devs.

Obviously, be very careful when you try going on any site linked on 4chan, not just here. Be aware that even if you do find a working build(of which I have seen screenshots), DISCONNECT YOUR COMPUTER FROM THE INTERNET. There was a leaker that was caught for sharing screenshots from a beta build of Dead Rising 4 that way, and pretty much all modern games have build-in security like this

Holy shit you have to play as fucking Jean Gray. Of course this game would have its own Mary Jane. (Although in fairness, she does have powers unlike mj, but no one wants to play as her still)

Also the copying of the nu-gow gameplay and plot is so obvious.

Anyways, looks like Insomniac is the Marvel cape-slop factory; can't say I'm surprised. I hope to god Marvel stuff completely collapses in the near future, I'm so sick of this shit.

This upcoming R&C title looks like the same horseshit as Rift Apart, and they can't help but retcon and bring back previous characters for no reason. I don't know why Insomniac is so infatuated with the Future storyline, it's been nothing but a millstone around the franchise's neck for decades now; nothing but the same regurgitated, uninspired crap. It seems they may be implying working on an open-world travelling system, like ACiT's space travel but more streamlined? That's the only thing of interest, everything else is the same space-magic reddit-tier shit.
