Seeing a lot of retards on Reddit saying Marvel could sue insomniac over these leaks, but I can’t imagine how? Insomniac didn’t intentionally leak this stuff out, and presumably they had some sort of cybersecurity?

Because Storm's powers would be too hard to render OP, and hard to write around, Rogue's too attractive powers have the same issues, and Jubilee's Asian, and they're part of the oppressors now a racist stereotype because she's Chinese, and her pyrotechnic powers are canonically called "fireworks".

Personally, I'm not against a Jean Gray game, but I do agree that the design they picked for her is really bad.

Wolverine is short and a canadian, therefore he's a minority.

Gambit could also work. Or Jubilee or Storm (i.e. Second best Mutant girls). If they wamted the core gamer audience, they would pick Rouge for ... reasons.

But they want to make this a gay Hollywood film, so of course they pick not only do they not pick the hot chicks nor cool dudes who probably would have good buddy-cop chemistry with Wolverine, they picked the absolute worst fucking X-Men character. And they'll make her ugly to boot. Thinking about it, I'm glad they didn't ruin any of the other hot chicks.

The sad thing is that Insomniac is a talented developer (ugly heroines notwithstanding) and yet they are forced to make what can only be described as "goy slop". The fact that they can keep up this relatively fast paced dev cycle with games that are well polished shows that.

You can see how uninspired this Wolverine game looks and that not even talking about the story/writing. Any new IP they make with be equally as bland, polished but bland. Naughty Dog is in the same position.

Just think about how good things could be if these insane budgets were spent on supporting a large amount of smaller teams producing games.

Bunny Tracks I think nailed it on why Storm, Rogue, or Jubilee wouldn't work.

Gambit wouldn't work because he's a more interesting character.

Though now that I say that, a Gambit game where you actually have to be a thief and be sneaky might of been interesting. Just make sure it's not done by Insomniac.
