I wouldn't have offered the bet if I wasn't game. Of course, the bet is off if somehow neither of the scenarios I outlined come to pass.

Biden is the most boring and unremarkable candidate anyone could come up with, I expect his presidency to be rather bland and second the notion of him being, essentially, Obama 2.0... yet I am fairly certain that the same people shitting up this thread with their wishful thinking about a last-minute Trump victory will declare everything that's going to happen the next 4 years to be the epitome of marxism and socialism taking root in the US. So yeah, the exact opposite of the last few years - instead of one group of idiots whining about Trump establishing fascism in the US, it'll now be a completely different group of idiots whining about marxism - in both cases over literally fucking nothing, I might add.

I'm in the enviable position of not caring who's going to be president. I don't give a shit, I'm just here to laugh at whoever spergs out over not getting to terms with a lost election.

I expect there will be huge rallies on the 6th in DC. Then the Democratic establishment Mayor will come down hard on them. Perhaps Antifa will show up to attack the protesters, but they won't be charged, as the DA's have received orders. However if you are wearing a Trump hat and fight back you are in trouble.

I don't see how its bad in an optics sense, the Trumpers fight back then they can simply splice the footage and claim it was "Trumpists" doing all the attacking. It worked pretty well for Floyd and during the riots in the middle of the year. Even if some Antifa die or are put on life support, they were useful bodies to promote a certain narrative that Trumpers are dangerous lunatics.

Oh, I have no doubt at all they could do that. After all, that's literally from the Beautiful Trouble handbook that the left trains their insurrectionists with.

That's why Antifa has plainclothes members walking around with phones at every riot. The fact that no one has figured out to target them with spraypaint and the like is a sin.

But no, my concern, as always, is escalation. While I would love to see Antifa get stomped into the dirt, we're at a point where I keep expecting Antifa to move to pipe bombs and the right to just start returning fire when Antifa starts attacking them.
