Short of living in a place where one can keep the illusion up indefinitely? The only "good" cops I've known in more populous/pozzed areas are the ones who end up quitting on principle. I'm not entirely sure it's possible to stay a well-meaning "straight edge" cop for long in those places. Eventually, you get asked to do some shady shit, and that seems to be a tipping point. Granted, these are references from former NYC/New Haven cops, so this example might be skewed. I actually doubt it's too far off, tho.When the right people join law enforcement--those that want to serve and protect--they can be an incredible force for good in their communities.
And yet, if you all went into Niggerville armed and got your shit back, then you'd be at fault for whatever happened (including daring to protect your property). They won't lift a finger to help you, but if you try and help yourselves they'll be more than happy to punish you for it.No police reports either to provide to insurance.
