I had a weirder idea where the situation was reversed in the US, where the Old-Mag dislikes the New-Mag. The idea is that the Euro wizards when they came on were less able to spread in their societies compared to the muggles since magic cures a lot, and so they were fused and absorbed; especially out in the west of the Mississippi area and in Florida, Upstate NY, and Old Cherokee lands.

So the issue there is more a cultural tension than a generational one. New-Mag being those who follow the euro ways or look euro compared to the Old-Mag native way.

Thus they look both more and less enlightened than their stuffy Old World kin.

RE: native wizards, IICR, there was a witch who arrived to America before the muggles, so it's likely they knew of the existence of each other in both continents. Also, remember that actual muggles knew of each other before the official Columbus landing, so it's likely the wizards from America were quite protected and safe from any muggle newcomer.

About Snape being trans, it's just another case of these awful people projecting their own insecurities and insanity on media and then throwing a tantrum when it's not canon. I always assumed he had an inferiority complex and joined Voldemort because:
1. The pressure to become a magical gangbanger when you're in Slytherin must be intense. If he didn't side with death eaters, he probably would have gotten bullied by both the Griffindors and Slytherins. At least this way he wasn't a total outcast.
3. It seemed like a quick path to success, plus maybe if he joined he could convince Voldemort to leave Lily alone.
People with inferiority complexes sometimes lash out because it makes them feel "bigger". See: incels.

But yeah, the guy is a mess and nobody should try to emulate him.

This whole situation is actually a fascinating case study and it proves that, I say this without a shred of hyperbole, that SJWs will suck every last single shred of joy and fun from this world and leave it a grey mass of pure misery if not stopped.

If they've turned on Harry Potter and JK Rowling, which has basically been this type of people's favorite franchise since they were children, then it's been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that there's not a single thing they won't destroy.

It shouldn't be that surprising since they already turned on Joss Whedon, who was also one of their top heroes, but still, Harry fucking Potter of all things has been "canceled", just stop and think about what that means for the rest of pop culture.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to be very optimistic and say that this might be one of the straws that breaks the camel's back on SJW culture and push people away from it going into the 2020s, because I can't imagine all but the most diehards really wanting to pretend there's no such thing as Harry Potter.

In the same way, HP teach readers to be accepting of foreigners because they're innocent people who just want to be part of the magic (muggle-borns). The irony here is that these muggle-borns abandon their whole life and leave it behind once they join Hogwarts. Immigrants in UK don't do that.

Imagine if immigrants instead treated the UK like one big real life Hogwarts and actually wanted to assimilate into British culture with great gusto, to become so British that they shite the Queen, they just happen to have darker skin tones, how different would people feel about it then?
