In any case though, after doing some research (I.e: a less than a minute Google search) the current Jacobite heir the Duke of Bavaria,Joseph's grandfather, has renounced and denied their claim to the throne.
Other monarchs in European history have done this, usually when personal unions are forbidden by one or both parties, but this has always resulted in their descendants also losing their claim to the renounced throne.
Joseph might be the heir of the Stuart dynasty,but thanks to the Duke of Bavaria the Stuart's no longer have a claim to the throne.
