I'll just give you a rundown about my opinions about the AVGN episodes, these are based on first watches.
- Season 11 (2017, Power Rangers - Lightspan Adventures): The post-Sega Activator season. Some are great like "Power Rangers" and "Game Boy Accessories", some are forgettable. It's still fine.
- Season 12 (2018, Earthbound - Home Alone Games): Slightly worse than Season 11, but still has some memorable episodes such as "Earthbound" and to an extent, "Amiga CD32" and "The Town with No Name". Still not really having any noticeable warning signs there for me.
- Season 13 (2019, Chronologically Confused about Kingdom Hearts - Majora's Mask): Slightly worse than Season 12. There's still some fine ones but still debatable like "Majora's Mask", "Pepsiman", and "Video Game Magazines", but still largely forgettable. This is probably at this point where there's some warning signs there for me especially with some of the bad ones like "Life of Black Tiger" and "The Immortal". Even to this day, I still haven't watched the "Kingdom Hearts" one but maybe that's for the best unless I decided to watch every single AVGN episode and rank them all.
- Season 14 (2020, Raid 2020 - Bartman Meets Radioactive Man): And this is where for me AVGN gets really underwhelming. The only fine ones for me are just maybe "The Incredible Crash Dummies" and "Taito Legends", but it's still even more forgettable.
- Season 15 (2021, Shrek Fairy Tale Breakdown - LJN): With Mike Matei gone from Cinemassacre, even as such I actually personally think this is slightly better compared with last season with at least one good episode ("Commodore 64"), but it's a mixed bag there's some episodes which I considered to be the worst ("Sega Game Gear VHS Tapes", "Carmageddon 64", etc.)
There is a noticeable dip in quality, but I'm not talking something like "the quality is dropping but still watchable, just meh" like how some people call modern Simpsons is as that, we're talking "the quality is dropping and you can clearly see the team is mostly not in the mood anymore and just for the paycheck".
Just a really small clarification, even though Bootsy did not get paid for some aspects, he did explain that it's not one of the major concerns he had, but rather more towards the long-standing concerns he had to the point it got extremely personal. No one except Bootsy himself even knew what was actually going on behind the scenes.

Also although this thread is moved from Multimedia, some people here generally agree he still hasn't reached cow status yet, which is 100% perfectly fine and even I still don't think so (which is why this thread is in "Internet Famous" rather than "Lolcow"), majority of the first few pages of the thread aren't even discussing him as a lolcow but more towards an Internet celebrity, and still stands to this day.
